I've been coming here for a week now, to get my steps in with my dog. Not a lot of people are around, it's a nice quiet park to jog or walk and enjoy the wildlife in the small lake. There are about 2 homeless guys that stay in the grass area I'm pretty sure they live there, but if you don't bother them they won't bother you. My one concern is the people who bring their dogs without a leash, it's really not that hard to put a leash on your dog, it should be common courtesy when other dogs are also in the park. Overall it's a great place to exercise, highly recommend!

There's a lot of people who come running, (and also two laps gives you 1 mile).

My experience was okay but they need to have the walking area a lot better and kick the homeless that are taking up the spaceRestrooms: The restrooms are a mess they need to be cleaned everydayDog-friendliness: They also are dig friendly and?? friendly as well

Ducks, bunnies, cranes, seagulls! Beautiful place. Just be careful about bringing your dogs because some people don’t keep their dogs on a leash.Perfect time to go? 4pm.Worst time: anytime after sunset, lots of homeless people and addicts.

I have walked by this park quite a few times..this is what this area of LA used to look like..then sometime in the late 19th century the area was transformed into avocado groves which stretch all the way into west LA. Unfortunately all that changed after WW2. south LA used to be a great area a long time ago..now it is nothing but a bunch of homes suffering from neglect and fences around every thing while cut downing old trees thus turning south LA into a wasteland. If there was a major investment by the city and private sector South LA could be brought back to her former glory..now this is an area ripe for gentrification. The only way to protect what's left of these historic homes

Great little park and wetlands in the middle of the city.Well lit and maintained.Only issue is that people often abandon their pet rabbits here.Domestic rabbits cannot survive in the wild and will perish after time. Please take them to a shelter instead of letting them go in a public park, etc. They will gladly take them.

I enjoy this park plenty if parking. I go for walks so i enjoy looking at the turtle's and bunny rabbits roaming around, lots of walkers and runners so it motivates you. They do need to trim the tree's and bushes for more space maybe add some exercise equipment they have the space.

The walk trail is ok. Good place to do morning walks. The only thing I wasn't too happy that the fact there were homeless men under some trees along the trail. Didn't feel very safe.

I’ve only lived in South LA for a few years, but this is one of my favorite local sized parks. Most people go to bigger one a little up Avalon, so the wetlands a little quieter and have a more active lap running/walking group. Big bonus for having a good selection of native plants and I pretty frequently see interesting wildlife there as well (at least relative to the area). It’s kind of like a smaller Augustus F. Hawkins park.

I really thought it was going to be bigger but it's not. And I wish that there were not homeless people camping out there, but what can you do. It's a nice park for the odd area in the city it's in but very small it's like going around a football field with a lake in the middle
