My mother and I were doing some Christmas shopping when she was approached by three security personnel. They accused her of shoplifting and told her that last time her daughter was in the store "she panicked at the door while attempting to shoplift when she saw security" referring to me. It was a humilating experience for both of us. On top of that tomorrow is the anniversary of my teenage sons death and my mother was just trying to distract me.

The pharmacy workers in the CVS are awful.During one of the COVID outbreaks, they told me to come in for a covid vaccine and booster shot when they were open on Monday at 10am. I come in at 10am, and the ladies at the front said that I need to wait until after 1pm. This is only one of the many conflicting issues I've gotten from them. I honestly recommend the CVS off of university gateway instead.

Everything is locked behind glass. Either bring a hammer or prepare to wait upwards of 10 minutes for service. Also they hate Pacific Islanders.

Seriously understaffed. They need to either hire more people or take the locks off of some of the merchandise. I waited half an hour to get help unlocking the toothpaste.

Target provides a versatile shopping experience, bridging the gap between traditional department stores and modern convenience. Their well-organized aisles display a range of products, from fashionable clothing to home essentials. With a commitment to affordable prices and exclusive brands, Target consistently delivers quality and style. The inclusion of a grocery section in many locations adds to its one-stop-shop appeal. A favorite for families, trend-seekers, and budget-conscious shoppers alike. ??️

First time there. Its a target express. A little of everything target offers. Almost too little though. They were out of major items. It is back to school time and the students were out in mass.

The self checkout is more useful than the actual people that work the register

This is primarily a Grocery/Home Necessities Target Being on a campus, this Target is smaller than a normal target, but it tries its hardest to be equipped with items college students would likely need. That means hygiene products, groceries, and kitchen appliances.

July 12, 2023 : While in Downtown LA today & a little time to spare before my next destination, I spotted a Target & away I went...at USC! Afterwards, I sat at a table underneath an umbrella & enjoyed a cold bottle of Organic Coconut Water w/my Target bags in a chair next to me! Beautiful Scents: After getting a whiff of so many yummy scented candles, I knew a few were coming home with me! Haha! My favorites were Bali Sunrise, Mango Coconut & Georgia Peach! Something New: So many cute & colorful bikinis & a super cute beach bag with pretty tassels! Birthday Cake flavored Oreos, as well as Birthday Scented body scrub?! Wow! Plus, colorful coffee mugs, yay! Customer Service: Super friendly when I had a few questions at self checkout! Thanks again! Overall: Target is always a great idea! If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely stop by if I need to pick up something! Plus, there are so many umbrella/shaded seated areas around, along with numerous stores & restaurants! Score!

Crowded as heck. It's not a big Target either and stocked more for the benefit of the college kids then for a middle-age mom. It'll be a miracle if you find street parking. There is paid parking lot where you get one hour free with validation underneath the store. One great thing is it's right next to Trader Joe's and the courtyard is beautiful with the fountain especially on a beautiful Southern California day.

Don't get me wrong -- I LOVE Target, just not this one. In terms of items present, I usually only come to grab snacks that you can't find at Trader Joe's next door. Sure, there's often a line to check out, but this store is on a college campus so that really isn't a problem to me. In terms of [RETURNS] -- DO NOT attempt to even return anything here. I've attempted twice and both were terrible experiences. Attempt #1: I had received a shirt as a gift, but it didn't fit properly, thus I brought the shirt and gift receipt to return. When I got to the front, the cashier took the item, and said "The money was returned to the Target Red Card." I looked at him confused because it was a gift receipt, which at other Targets, I have always received a gift card. I asked if it was possible to retrieve the money, but they said it was too late and the money was returned to the card already. Just talk about awkward. I didn't even bother telling the person who bought me the gift that the money was returned (sorry...I appreciate the effort in buying for me) Attempt #2: I had received a candle and some jackets from Target over the holidays, but I did not have a gift receipt for them. I looked online, and it said that I would be able to receive store merchandise credit even without a receipt as long as I had my ID, just not actual money back. I went to return, and everyone looked at me funny and said they don't do returns unless it was the ID of the person who purchased the items. The worst part is -- I went to another Target (Target Alhambra to be specific) and they didn't even question me. They scanned my ID, accepted the items without question, and handed me a store merchandise card. This store doesn't know the regular Target policies at all in terms of returns. I've been frustrated multiple times and I would NOT recommend attempting to return anything here at all...fine to shop at, terrible to return at.
