Helpful and friendly staff and great food. One of the best Carnitas burritos I’ve had. Parking in the lot is tight.

The best Mexican food I've had in a while! Ordered the enchiladas, and the tortillas were so soft and supple, each bite nearly melted in my mouth. The guac is also perfection. Can't recommend enough!

One of the best Mexican Cafes in LA. Tiny but mighty spot with EXCELLENT food. Pictured here enchiladas verde and Rojo. One of each! Some forget to support our #Buddybear.tv YouTube Channel ! Thanks !

This place is freaking amazing even for a vegetarian. I highly recommend the vegetarian enchilada as well as the Mole Sauce which is to die for. It's not exactly the fanciest atmosphere but the food won me over, and I plan to keep coming back.

I own a business on Melrose, very close by this place, we have been coming to this place for years, but today was the last day, I notice that it’s becoming more and more bad quality food and portions, today I order machaca burritos, but instead I received egg burritos with machaca flavor, insane, I notice this pattern since before, but I had enough, no more, I definitely would not recommend this food/place.

This arguably the best Mexican food in LA. It’s been a staple for decades.

Edit: updating the rating because I know they're doing their best but man the Chile rellano expectations crushed meI was excited to try the Chile rellano burrito based on the reviews and I was severely disappointed. The beans and rice overpower the burrito and the Chile rellano was flavorless. wouldn't have been able to tell I was eating a Chile rellano if I wasn't looking directly at it. My boyfriend had the carne asada burrito and immediately commented on the "fishy" aftertaste of the meat. I also got the taquito combo to share between 2 people and it came with 3 really small taquitos with nothing else except chicken meat in it, also no seasoning and no flavor. The menu option for the taquito combo alludes to a combination of beef and chicken taquitos but I just got 3 flavorless chicken taquitos for $11. Honestly, really disappointing. I ordered this as takeout and assume that it's a better dining in the restaurant. However based on my own experience, I'd don't think I'd come back here.

Drove in from Phoenix for the weekend and stopped here in the way in to town. I ordered the Chile Verde plate… I ate that WHOLE thing in under 10 minutes. The flavor and the consistency were ON POINT!! I still dream about it ?

For some reason I was on a quest for a good breakfast burrito-something simple that wasn't overly complicated (or expensive.) A simple, solid, working class burrito. Tere's was the closest to me so I decided to head on over there. I decided to go with their chorizo burrito and instead of a juice got an Jarritos. The food is made to order so it does take a little bit of time. I decided to sit on their patio and dine-in. My burrito was small, I was picturing a large mission-style burrito but what I got was probably a similar to two tacos kind of put together (size wise.) I'm glad I got the chorizo though because it added a spicy, earthy, savory element to the burrito. I'll say it was gone to fast though, I think being hungry it definitely felt smaller than it looked. It was tasty, it was simple, but I could have used a little more.

This place has been my go to mexican spot for a while now but last night I noticed their prices went up, $20 for some nachos with unmelted cheese, that's a no for me thank you.

Really authentic Mexican food and FAST! They were playing the Cumbia music, plenty of outdoor seating and the tortilla's are so amazing. You can always tell how good a Mexican place is by their chips and salsa. OMG Tere's is on point! Breakfast burritos are huge! If you want authentic Mexican at a really great price, look no further.
