I can always trust Detox Market for my skincare needs. The staff here is so helpful. They are patient in answering all of my questions, which I really appreciate. Plus I just love spending time in this shop. It's so calming.

One star for the meaningless copy-and-paste response one of the Detox Market's many staff members made to my previous review. This joint is overstaffed, with each staff member grossly underqualified. This enterprise is greenwashing incarnate. If you need non-toxic beauty products for your health or because you actually care about the environment, or hey even a non-toxic human interaction, this is not gonna be your place. Sadly you'll have to shop online. Before you buy anything online, check the ingredients on toxin-aware websites (if you don't have a go-to yet, some are listed in my previous review). Might as well check the animal cruelty and BDS lists/sites too. Anyway, wish it were, but this place is Not It.

I was looking for some skincare to help with my dry skin and acne. I try to be healthy and natural and eat clean foods, use nice toothpaste and deodorant and stuff like that so I wanted my skincare to be in that same category. I tried some sephora stuff but didnt really help and some of my coworkers who like the natural clean stuff recommended detox market and I stopped into the West Hollywood location. The employees were so friendly and helpful. I'm a dude and had no idea what to look for but they evaluated my skin, asked some questions and set me up with a face wash, mist, oil and spf day cream. I've been using the combo for a couple weeks now and feel amazing and get compliments on my skin all the time. It's a cute little store and the employees were amazing!

So, you've heard about eating clean, right? Did you know that Europe bans a great many more makeup ingredients than the USA? Have you thought about how much you know about what you are putting on your face? Really, who has the time to look up all the ingredients in each one of their beauty products? Luckily, you don't have to do the work because Detox Market has done it for you. They only sell, clean, organic, vegan brands of makeup and skincare so you can be confident about what you put on your face and body. I'm so glad there's a place like this. They have a list of banned ingredients that they will not carry in their store. You can find the list on their website. I purchased some cream eye makeup from the brand MOB that the associate suggested when I told her I was looking for eyeshadow. It's creamy and goes on smooth. I'm using it every day and I love it. I'm glad I can be confident knowing it is a clean brand. Price was comparable to other brands of eyeshadow. Detox Market has a rewards program. You get $5 for every $100 you spend. Service was nice and attentive. I was greeted when I walked in and got my questions answered. They let me sample the products before I made my purchase. Also, your purchase comes in a cute reusable bag. This company is both clean and green! Metered parking available. There are other locations in Santa Monica, New York and Toronto. They also offer skin consultations, makeup lessons, and makeup application.

I popped in here looking for a moisturizer, and Ashley, who works with Three Ships, offered to give me a quick mini facial. I had been having a really stressful week, and the facial was amazing! She recommended some great products for me and was super helpful. Her colleague, who helped me select a moisturizer, was also super helpful (unfortunately I didn't catch her name.) I prefer shopping on their website versus in store because it's convenient and I feel like inventory is more abundant. I've been shopping with them since 2015 and have never really had a bad experience. I have loved everything I've ordered over the years and everything is high quality. No complaints about customer service either. I wish they would open an outpost in the Pasadena area.

I hated the skin products I added all of them on my face at the same time and I experience extreme pain and had a wild allergic reaction and had to wash my face off at least 14 times before my face started to cool down, do not recommend!!!

I was there on Saturday, May 20 2023. The customer service was horrible. The person who helped was rude, condescending and was not interested in doing her job.I will never shop in this store.

Ate you kidding me!? I ordered samples of Rahua shampoos to see which one work work best for my hair that has now gone full gray. In the years past I would receive a foil sample pack which gave me two shampoos. I picked up my package today and for $8.00 i received what amounts to thimble sized samples that will not provide even one wash. I get the changes most retailers are facing since COVID wrecked havoc with businesses and the economy but this is ridiculous. I'm awaiting another samples order and once received I'm done with TDM because I'm offended that a for $8 I received three samples that will provide NO opportunity to see how the shampoos will work which with shipping I could have applied $12 toward any other product including a full size. With the availability of the same products all over the web as well as local retailers that's where I'll go. TDM appears to be, for whatever reason, to have changed quite a bit.

Had a great experience this past Thursday! Went in to buy some Rahua shampoo. I was greeted by a young women with long black hair and asked if I needed help finding anything. She walked me all the way over to what I needed. I continued browsing and Joy checked in with me to ask if I needed any further help. Great Customer service! I will be back soon!

Shop girl is really rude and unfriendly. She first got me the wrong foundation and checked me out but didn't bother to change the correct item on my receipt. Don't know if there will be an issue in case I need a return. Won't be returning to this location again.

Wow this place is a natural beauty wonderland!! The space is chic and clean and bright with hundreds of amazing beauty products. From makeup to body oil and everything in between. All high end natural products. Really fun place to discover something new. I came here to find a birthday gift for a friend I know loves natural beauty products and left with something for myself too. Found the perfect gift and they included a very cute cotton gift bag, free samples, making it an overall very pretty gift. The sales people were super helpful and knowledgeable but not overbearing at all. I ended up purchasing another gift for an out of state friend through their website and had another fantastic experience with that. I highly recommend this store!
