The Icon is a professional photo lab offering a wide range of services including film developing, scanning, and digital and darkroom printing. Reviews note it is a professional place with great, quick, and helpful service from a caring and knowledgeable staff. Many customers are happy with their experience, finding the staff patient, amazing, and wonderful, offering helpful advice. The lab provides online and mail order services with subsidized or free shipping.
However, experiences can vary. One reviewer mentioned a damaged film roll during development, for which the lab apologized and provided a refund. While generally professional, another reviewer felt the development time of three business days was not the fastest and that the selection of film and cameras was not huge, suggesting there might be other preferred labs in the area for some. Overall, customers express excitement to use the services and satisfaction with the professional results and support.
I have tried film labs all over the world for my personal and client film development and scans and Icon has been the fastest and best lab I've used. They have quick turn around times, are great with communication, and do such beautiful and clean work. I'm so grateful to have found them!

I've been going to The Icon for years. They're the best in LA for film processing. Fast, reliable and have a streamlined processing workflow clearly outlined on their website. I always recommend them to anyone who needs film scanning or developing work done!

Each project with The Icon has been handled with care. We've never lost a single roll of film or had any issues with digital scans (excellent color transfers). They also offer a 24 hr night drop behind the store in the alley way off Cochran Ave., perfect for shoots that run late.
