I took my goddaughter shopping here and to get her racquet restrung. They were very helpful and polite. This is a great shop.

Shop isn't what I remembered it to be. Prices are nothing special. Stringing a racquet is constantly going up every time I go

Let me start off by saying the staff itself is amazing but since they got new ownership the business has gone down tremendously. The owner Jan is unprofessional and seems to be there just to tell others what to do and has no part in being a team player for her employees. My family and I have been coming to The Racket Doctor for years and have always had a great experience but the atmosphere has completely changed. Great job to the employees for their top tier customer service and performance.

A little disappointed how things have changed since the ownership change. I know everyone says Randy was temperamental and it just depended on how he was feeling that day on how your interaction was going to be with him but that was part of the experience. That feeling of it being a mom and pop shop are over. Ok, so they cleaned it up and now you can walk around without having to slide by people but now they don't have the selection they used to have. I miss the old anniversary sales where almost everything went on sale. Now its just clothing and shoes. I used to love popping in to see what crazy deal they had for the month. $1 sets of strings or $50 racquets. No more of that. I get you have to make money to pay the bills but I miss the old racket doctor. Now it just feels like just another boutique tennis store.

These guys are the best! They are so nice, knowledgeable, fast, good pricing, and fun! They have such a large variety of options, too. This is my go-to place for all of my racket (and shoes!) needs.

Visiting friends in the area and thought I would stop by to see if they have the strings I need for my racket. Not only did they have them in stock, they were able to re-string while I went to lunch. Fun place for tennis players with everything we need for our game. Great prices too.

When I first started playing tennis I came here because it was close to me and I had heard good things. The first time I came I walked in and no one said anything to me. There were many employees but no one even looked at me. I wanted to buy a racket and stood by them. Nothing. I stood at the counter. Nothing. I left after five minutes with no one ever saying one word to me. I came back a couple days later because I didn't know where else to go and the same thing happened. This time I went up to someone who at first ignored me and then when they realized I wasn't walking away said "oh do you need help?". I told them I was new to tennis and was looking for a racket. I had done some research and tried friend's rackets and told them what I wanted. They recommended one to me and while they had mentioned something about demoing it, they weren't clear and I didn't understand that I could try it out. I bought the racket and got it strung and they never explained anything about the strings to me. They just kept asking what I wanted like I knew what they meant, but I didn't. I really wish I had demoed the racket because I ended up disliking it. It was a racket for spin, which I wouldn't have wanted, and then after doing research I learned it was for more advanced players. I felt like the employee didn't listen to me when I was saying what I wanted and recommended a bad racket for a beginner. This is definitely partially my fault, but I was new to tennis and didn't know what I was doing and it wasn't clear I was allowed to borrow rackets and try them. I ended up selling the racket because I disliked it so much. I then came back to demo some other rackets now that I had been playing longer and learned more about what I wanted. I explained what I wanted and they recommended one. I tried and it immediately knew it wasn't what I wanted. I went back to trade it in and got one I ended up liking. I was interested in buying it but had questions about the bigger head size. When I went to return it I wanted to talk to someone but instead they were just like "thanks bye" and walked away. Never asked what I thought, if I wanted to demo another one, if I wanted to buy it, nothing. I ended up going and demoing the bigger head size somewhere else and buying it there. Nearly everyone I dealt with here was unhelpful and acted annoyed at any question I had. I feel like they probably get a lot of people who think they want to play tennis because it's trendy and maybe they don't take it seriously. But there are a lot of people who are new to tennis and are going to take it seriously. We will have questions and need to given advice. No one here seemed to care at all about answering my questions and the advice I got honestly seemed bad.

Price is reasonable and they have variety of racket, the can also loan you the racket for a week for $10 and $150 deposit, which will be returned to you if you purchase the racket so technically you can barrow for free

Worst experience with an order! I will never go back again!I ordered a Babolat tennis racket through the store on July 13th. When I had not heard from them in 2 weeks, I phoned them to check-in on my order. I was told that the order had been placed but still hadn't arrived. I checked in with them 2 more times and got the same answer. I called them again this week, on August 15th (note, over a month after the order was placed) to again check in and also expressed my frustration at never once being called by the store to receive status on my order. The manager told me that my order was still not in but would look into the matter further and phone me the next day. I got a call at the end of the day on the 16th, only to be informed that they had actually not placed my order afterall, and it was due to a computer issue. He said they could place it now but that it would likely take sometime for them to receive the racket as Babolat is notorious for their shipping delays.Everyone makes mistakes.... but they had 3 chances to catch their mistake when I phoned earlier to check-up on the status of my order. This was a terrible experience overall.

This place brings back so many great memories . I use to come here for all our tennis stuff . This store had the latest rackets the latest tennis shoes. They had the last ear styles. It was a top tennis store back in 1996 till they sold it to someone else and the quality of the store when down . Now the store looks poor. Recently made a visit to buy tennis shoes and it was really upsetting that I have to go online to order the lawyers style because they barely have anything.Tennis is a classic elite expensive sport, with that said the store has to have the latest brands and style.
