Just want to stop by on Yelp and express quick appreciation for the store providing all the items needed daily for performing my job. Starting off where I have never experienced such a moment where I feel targeted. After flagging down DEBORAH and asking if it's okay for me to use the next self-checkout, I found her very entertaining, conversing with the customer. While I think it's good to help, it's essential not to engage in detailed conversations to avoid interfering with the job description, which is mainly ensuring the lines run smoothly and being available for anyone in need. After scanning my items, she walked up to me and asked for my receipt as I was leaving. I asked if she does that to every customer; she said sometimes with a big smile. I have no problem showing my receipt after she has seen it, she said ok. Not professional at all; if she hadn't been so engrossed in the conversation with the other customer, she could have easily seen me scanning all the items. I highly recommend for upper management to bring this to her attention to prevent any bad reviews towards the store, or potentially, a lawful lawsuit.

Yeah never coming here again.. like if you don't trust your customers don't only have the self check out open .. ridiculous.

Placed an order online for pavers. Waited 2 months for it to be fulfilled. Finally was told to go to my local store where they notified me the distributor discontinued the product. However, I could go back online and place another order as Home Depot had the product in the local warehouse. But I would need to pay the extra $700 price difference form my original order on Home Depot's website. Unbelievable, Home Depot won't even price match their own online store order.

I've been renovating homes for 40 years, and I've never seen such a sad sight. This Home Depot is always low on inventory, no one around to help you unless you're willing to wait 15 or 20 minutes, what few carts they do have available are either broken or the wheels are locked up. I have had a few good experiences late at night, which is not my most preferred time to shop. Lines at the register have sometimes been 20 to 30 people waiting. I sometimes drive the extra 5 miles to Ladera Heights to at least get better service and have carts available for shopping.

If I could rate it a zero I would. Worst customer service. Had me wait 30 mins for assistance in the store and after talking with 4 people, nobody was sent to the lumber area.

The older Spanish employees here are extremely "biased" towards younger affluent consumers. I've been stopped here twice while using the self check out lane. Once asked to see my receipt even as she watched me scan all of the items , she examined the receipt that had 3 items with such scrutiny as though the longer she stared at it, the words would magically change. The second time to verify that I was the card holder of the Home Depot card that was in my name. I truly hate this location and it's unfortunate that I now drive 20 minutes further. Negative rating if possible.

Some of the employees at this location haven't figured out yet that customer service isn't for everyone. If you work here (Slauson & Western) and you don't like your job, do us all a favor and quit! And take your shitty attitude with you. If we're doing our own ordere at self checkout, how are you mad? All youre doing is watching! All I did was ask for help with nuts and bolts from hardware at self-checkout and this chick gets an attitude... If anybody should be mad, it should be the customers that's doing your damn job on the cash registers for free!! I don't work at Home Depot, you do! FOH with that foolishness.

Shopping in the Reno store at the Summitt has always been such a good experience for us. We live in Donner Springs so we go out of our way to shop there.Reason is the employees always seem happy, and are friendly.I have had experience working with James, who is beyond any great customer service.Saul was the one that helped us with our experience buying a new stove.He was friendly, very personable and thanked us for shopping there. He made our day special by assisting us with a problem that we had.We also made a comment about Richard in the linoleum, section. Bob assisted him and also had a very nice personality. One of there co workers assisted them and Bob thanked her and made such a nice comment working withe her. People do not take things like good customer service for granted.Please remember to give your sales person an attaboy if they deserve it. Works both ways also

No one knows anything when you ask for help. All they are there to do is take your money at the register. One positive thing to say however is, the lady was honest to tell me she didn't know anything. I'm very disappointed with The HomeDepot.

As a customer I'm better off ordering what I can from Amazon because at least I don't expect customer service. This locations inventory is ALWAYS wrong, and if you ask anyone for help, you will be given two to three different answers/locations of where one item might be, and you will be told things like "it should be on this side, if not we're sold out" but your computer says you have 20 in stock. The Home Depot used to be a place I could always depend on, but they have taken a turn for the worst and forgot about the customer completely.

Delivery sucks! Was told my AC would be delivered on 9-10-22, now 9-13. No help I n giving me other options or store pick up. First time ordering from them and never will again!

How are you gonna have a big corporate store and not be able to do returns, after waiting for a bit the only employee in returns dept said the system was down, that it has been down for 2 weeks and can't do an exchange. This is ridiculous.

I went to purchase a toilet and I kindly asked a man by the checkout station for help and since my pregnancy is noticeable I thought he would've helped! WRONG HE GAVE NO FUCKS! (he might go by K.G. Has a beard and had a khaki with a collared shirt ) and he never came. Lazy A** was standing around doing nothing as we were in the checkout station.
