Terrible service with trying to coordinate online delivery for boxes. Driver never called me and then said they tried to deliver but my property was inaccessible so they returned my order to the U-haul store. Got a call from the U-haul store later saying that they were unloading my boxes back at the store. I asked them to try delivering again as my address is 10 minutes away and they refused. Store employee over the phone was incredibly rude and disrespectful. Avoid interacting with this location at all costs!

4167 Western Ave. 90062 to be exact. Morning customer service was excellent, sad that he'd expressed he was leaving there soon, now I know why!!!!! 2 of the workers were on the side talking about someone in jail, when they were finally found. While two people almost got into an accident and then an altercation broke out due to the unprofessional fact that there wasn't anyone around to help direct incoming and out going rentals. Everyone working there during my 3pm return was rude. The little boy named Caesar, who was working return rentals by himself, refuse to answer me when asked if a manger was on the premises. After asking 3x, he said, "ya, but he's too busy." There wasn't anyone in the office to help, because they were all outside huddled near mechanic. I had to walk to the mechanic area to finally find workers talking and laughing amongst each other. When I asked if the manger was there, EVERYONE stopped, looked at and then proceeded to turn away and continued to on as if I had said nothing. After asking for the second time, still no response and then the third time I looked at and asked one specific individual, which so happened to be the manager, wow! The same man who looked at me and said absolutely nothing (dumbass!!!!!) I believe it takes intellectuals to run a business, which clearly the p.m. MAN-NOT-AGER is way over his head. Down right shameful!!!!!! I'm done now, just wanted to vent about how it's just so sad seeing incompetent individuals working in public!!!!!!!! They should find remote employment starting today.

this location is the best of the best customer service was excellent only 2 on site mr. ken and a latina employee the team out is outstanding....moving is the most stressful than having a child the kindness shown by the both of them was extremely incredible.....mr.ken is terribly handsome watch out ladies!!!!!

I've often came to this Uhaul location back in early 2000 and 2007 very professional very client friendly. Not so now on 06/07/2021 rude unprofessional employees and worker"s I rented a small box truck used it for no more then three hours brought it back to check out and I waited about ten minutes while these employees chatted with people keeping me waiting like I had nothing in life going I sat and recorded these clowns for five of the ten minutes of keeping me hostage on this ghetto property for their enjoyment once they realize they were being recorded then they decided to help check me off there lot . Keep in mind the people they were chatting with was not being serviced when you spend money at places like this to keep there revenues running well and there employees paid and you get slapped in the face with disrespectful service it's really a let down I will definitely not return to this GHETTO IGNORANT UHAUL assembly .

Best U-Haul location! I was in a total jam and needed a trailer ASAP! Stopped by without a reservation and was still able to get in and out with in 15 minutes! As soon as I went to hook up the trailer to my truck; wouldn't you know it, I forgot my hitch. The owner let me borrow a hitch and I was on my way. Returning the trailer was just as simple. From start to finish their customer service was awesome!

I had great experience here. I booked my Uhaul online a month beforehand. To get reservation you have to call at least 3 weeks in advance. Don't delay! Called main number to follow up. And confirmed reservation which included scanning my license and insurance online (there are free apps for that!) before picking up my trailer. The day I had to pick up my hitch there was a credit card glitch and Jose Ramirez the manager was more than patient even when things were held up after closing time. (When you go out of state always let your bank know especially when making large purchases.) Jose works hard and went out of his way and I appreciate he and his staff. It I ever need to use Uhaul in L A again I will return to this location and will tell my friends. (I almost used another location closer to Hyde Park but reviews were awful.) The trailer was in good condition too! P.S. The only part I didn't like - which was unavoidable -- I was not guaranteed this location -- because I cancelled the first Uhaul location once I read their reviews. But that's not their fault it's mine.

When you promise a customer, like myself, that the truck will be available for pick up at a certain time, ie 8am in my case, make damn sure the truck is there so I don't have to re arrange my movers (which cost me double) and my entire moving schedule around your unfulfilled promise. Also, Horrible customer service when I talked to the scheduling dept about it on the phone. Use any other service ie. Budget, Penske, etc... U-Haul is garbage!

Horrible customer service. The stud that works here must hate her job and life. Don't bother doing all the online stuff to "make it faster". I took pictures of my DL and uploaded them online as it says to speed up my process. The stud girl who helped me stared at my ID for 5 minutes when I told her I did everything online she said it was showing anything. I felt I was bothering the employee for even renting a uhaul. Someone fire this girl during the pandemic so she can get the $600 extra on unemployment and maybe she will smile. The gentleman outside was very helpful. After getting our keys and basically almost thrown at me and saying "go look for your Van its outside". The numbers on the van weren't matching to the key number on the tag. A gentleman outside at the drop off saw us and offered to help us find the van. He notice the van numbers were wrong but assured us it was the correct van. Then a text was sent to me with the matching license plate number. Overall I will definitely go to a further uhaul and pay extra for the miles then deal with miserable employees. Except for that guy outside. He was very helpful for that I am giving 3 stars

I'm sorry if Wednesday 25 I disturb the employee for ask a information for rent a trailer, when he to play with videogame with phone. I not understand why the U-haul not fired the lazy employee, but not worry, now and in the future, I rent truck, etc., in a other company, and I not understand why in the staff are rude Now I write the review in all social media.

I am writing this review because of the horrible treatment that I received while attempting to rent a car dolly at one of your facilities. I have used U-Haul many times before and I have never been treated so poorly unprofessionally. On February 4, 2020 I made reservation 85478412. I then called the U-haul at 4167 Western to let them know that I could not make it until after 5 pm. I was told that this would not be a problem because they are open until 7pm. I arrived at approximately 6:40pm. Upon entry I was asked if I came to get a truck or trailer. I told the man that I wanted a car dolly. He told me that he doesn't know because they are all behind other trailers. I then spotted one up front that was unobstructed. When I pointed out the unobstructed dolly the employee said that he said that he couldn't give it to me because he couldn't attach it. I informed him proudly that I could attach it myself without a problem.We then continued a heated discussion in which I was given many excuses as to why I would not be able to rent the dolly. He mentioned that he wouldn't rent it to me because the process would be too inconvenient. I asked him, "What is so inconvenient about doing your job? Isn't the process part of your job?" He said that he didn't want to write up a contract so close to closing. I was told that customers expect excellence from us (the employees) but y'all (customers) don't want to be excellent. Y'all be late and expect a lot from us." He said I should have been there at 2:30 or earlier in the morning. I told him that I called to postpone the pick-up time. He then told me that my reservation was cancelled because I was late and it was too late to make another. I was told that "We don't do nothing in the last 15 minutes before closing." I could sense that he was getting angry and it showed by his yelling and body language and the manner in which he spoke to me. The conversation ended with him turning his back on me walking back toward the office. I asked, "So are you going to rent the dolly to me?" He responded, "Come back in the morning Sir!" I said, "What is your name?" He said, "David Sheppard!" And walked into the office. I left at 6:50pm and as I drive away I called the U_Haul reservation line that I originally called and the lady on the phone tried unsuccessfully to find another rental dolly for me. Is this how the customers are supposed to be treated at U-Haul? I don't think that I have been treated like this from any professional organization. I would have better accepted him telling me that I was too late than for him jump from one excuse to another. I am concerned that my writing captures and conveys the unprofessionalism and poor treatment to the reader. I hope that whomever reads this can feel my disappointment and frustration.
