Initially left a bad review but turns out they were correct. I’ve had good medical guidance here.

EXORBITANTLY OVERPRICED MEDICAL COMPANY THAT WILL CHARGE INSANE AMOUNTS AND THEN MESS UP BILLING, LEAVING YOU WRONGFULLY ON THE HOOK. Want a medical billing nightmare, even for simple services? Look no further.Definitely don't go here. It's extremely expensive (like shockingly so), and even if you have good health insurance, they make mistakes that can end up in YOU being the one having to foot bills in the hundreds or thousands, simply because their billing department couldn't be bothered to communicate with your insurance company. It then results in a complete and total mess, where they try to send debt collectors after you for charges that your health insurer should have paid, but confuse you by showing your bill due as 0 online. This office's billing department can't seem to figure out how to respond to insurer's requests for more information--they'd just rather send a collections agency after you, wrongfully, instead. This office will also send you random bills literally over a year after the fact. Complete nightmare. Go literally anywhere else.Edit: Months later, finally managed to resolve THEIR billing error with my health insurance after hours of waiting on the phone with insurance, tons of stress, and these fools trying to send collections for THEIR mistakes while refusing to take accountability. It had to be escalated to a higher-level insurance person for these jerks at UCLA Health to realize THEIR mistake. Thankfully, my insurance is good and resolved the issue for me.

I really liked the doctor but the billing is such a scam, me sand my 2 children needed either forms filled out or a physical completed. Not both. They completed my kids physical but asked me to come back another day for mine. I agreed and still was charged with an office visit, simply for being there which I had to be there as I had my two kids. When I inquired about why I would be charged for an office visit they informed me that if I spoke to the doctor about anything other than the physical I would be charged. I explained had I known they were not completing my physical I would not have discussed anything With the doctor as I was under the assumption that we were completing my physical as we talked so now I have to drive over an hour to go be seen again pay for a physical and be charged for another office visit most likely if anything is discussed other than my physical… the doctor herself was very thorough and great but the billing and staff is rude and money hungry. Borderline insurance fraud looking for any reason to bill when nothing was completed. After my next visit which I need completed since it was never done… despite being charged, I will not be coming back here. Very disgusted in the way this healthcare office is opportunistic with billing.

Refused to see my 5 year old (an established patient) with a high fever because it was 10 min to closing time. Sent away a very sick child so they could close on time

I saw this place for an urgent care visit. The staff and the doctor were courteous and really professional. I decided to make this my go to place for my health care.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with a lot of the negative reviews, here. This clinic is a greedy, capitalist institution that will try to take advantage of patients by charging them an exorbitant amount of money for small procedures/visits by tacking on unnecessary and irrelevant costs.I came in for a Nexplanon replacement and was seen by Dr. Bonfoco who did my procedure. She ONLY replaced my Nexplanon; did no other check-up or evaluation of any sort on me. Yet she still decided to tack on a Level IV E/M visit on my billing statement, which I've found out is something that UCLA likes to do (they will charge you by the minute and classify any visit over 30 min as a Level IV E/M procedure, even if the provider did no medical evaluation of a patient's health. This is solely TIME-BASED, so the provider can simply assert that a visit was over 30 min because they decided to leave my medical record open for over 30 min).I've tried calling billing, who asserts that this classification is time-based only. It is insane that they do not tell you these things up front and try to sneak things in like this. Also messed up that physicians abide by this in order to maximize their financial gains at the expense of humans who just need provider care.It is sad to see that others are experiencing this. I assume that the UCLA Clinic in Century City aims to target the rich (who won't bat an eye at high-cost billing statements) such that they can get away with making as much money as possible. It seems that their strategy is to take advantage of people who need medical attention. This is very, very messed up and probably warrants legal action on my behalf.

I arrived at the clinic after 5 days of intense throat pain, difficulties to swallow food and even saliva. I had the exact same thing one month before. When arrived, I ask about the culture results to know if last time I was dealing with a virus or bacteria, to find out that the test had never been sent to the lab for analysis. I explain my situation to the doctor, whom proposes to me to use salty water and honey for an acute throat pain that lasts for more than 5 days, as she says she doesn’t observe any inflamation. No other physical exams were performed, no drugs prescribed. This is a horrible way to handle a patient in strong pain. I get abandoned and mistreated. When I asked to see another doctor to have a second opinion, they threaten that maybe I will be charged 500$. As an immigrant not fully understanding how the medical system works, I had no option but leave in strong pain. This disrespectful care is way lower than Ucla standards. Shameful…

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! READ ALL REVIEWS AND AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! I went in for a preventative annual exam, the doctor stayed for like ten minutes, discussing my general health and some symptoms: runny nose and itchy eyes - which is just ALLERGY!! I then asked for a gynecologist referral, for a more thorough wellness exam, again, PREVENTATIVE in nature and I can easily google myself!!! For these two discussions which lasted like 2 min, UCLA health billed me $864 for office visit level III, on top of $598 billed for preventative visit! It's a total scam! Before I left their office, I asked the clerk to read the notes and they assured me my visit was preventative and that I shouldn't be expecting any bills! This place is a total scam!!!

I've been to other UCLA med care locations for many times but this is my first time here for urgent care service. I checked in around 7pm and the front desk lady said that the all the doctors appointments are all filled today. But she was able to go inside and double checked for me and Dr Rajakumar was willing to see me.Dr Rajakumer is very knowledgeable and caring. He explained about my situation very patiently and tried to solve my issue the method fits me the most. The two nurses helped me that day was being very kind and helpful as well.I had no issue with my insurance and not sure why so many people were complaining. I have MPI and my co-pay is $5 here for single visit.Overall, it was a very nice clinic experience which is better than my anticipation (especially when you already not feeling well and need to go to an urgent care).

The staff here is so rude! I booked my appointment online but never received any confirmation or follow ups to fill out health forms, for my first time visit. I called the office on the appointment day to confirm as I was out of country for a while and I missed the appointment by a few min. I was told by the staff that I shouldn’t take doctors appointment very lightly. When he helped me reschedule, he treated me like I’m so stupid that can’t read online confirmation, instead of acknowledging that they need to improve their customer service and send email or text confirmations at least for new patients ahead of time. How can I know my appointment is confirmed for sure when I literally received their system signup on my appointment date in their office. Sometimes internet booking has glitches and that won’t be the best source. At minimum, show some empathy and be a human.

I visited this clinic several times and although my physician and the staff were very nice and it’s very convenient that they have most services on site, my bills are always astronomical here. I was recently charged for an “online consultation” that I never had. Turns out that my doctor had to ask a hematologist if I should get blood work done for bruising. The answer was no and I received a $150 bill coded as if I met with the specialist. Also, my very basic hearing test was almost $600. I could have gone to a professional audiologist and gotten a more detailed test for half that price. I understand that this is a university, etc. but it’s just way too expensive and I’ll be looking for a smaller private clinic moving forward.

My sample (blood work) was not processed in time. No responsibility was taken and staff were quick to blame the lab. I was informed that it was due to the lab not collecting on time? What a joke. This was the second time this has happened to me at this location. I’ve never experienced this anywhere else globally and in the U.S.A. When I returned the following day as a walk-in for re-testing, both the doctor and nurse were “too busy” to see me. Staff were not empathetic at all and palmed me off to another location which was extremely inconvenient. That same day I had to phone UCLA health Century City 3 times to get my doctors order faxed to the lab who were able to see me for testing. I will no longer be using UCLA health as my primary care provider based on my experience here. The service and patient treatment is appalling.

I have been coming here for several years, but I will no longer visit this particular location. The doctors, nurses, and technicians have always been pleasant and helpful. The care I have received here has been excellent. Unfortunately the front desk staff are neither pleasant nor helpful and based on my experience on the phone today and in person during my last visit, I won't be returning. I'm fairly certain the woman I spoke with today hung up on me.
