Great customer service there's a guy that worked here on August 8th 2025 2:PM he served me, when it was my turn in line he gave me GREAT CUSTOMER service, he deserves a promotion, & I also noticed while I was waiting in line he was actually teaching other customers a out how the shipping thing works since they seemed alil confused about media mail. But besides him being a Great Worker, every time I come here to ship my packages all the employee that work here are soo respectful caring and Amazing, i uselally like testing out other USPS around the area but cause of his Thier experience I'm stating loyal to this USPS even if I have to travel further just to get here. I Really Love every single 1 of the employees every time I come here, they also gave us knowledge on shipping details highly intelligent And recommended... ❤️❤️❤️❤️📨 PROMOTE THAT AMAZING MAN 🙌🏼

I love coming here when the Postal employees are loudly arguing with each other, but probably my favorite thing is when they carelessly throw my package after I just paid.
It's really wonderful to be treated with such disregard from a government service I depend on. Awesome 👌

The historic post office at 900 Alameda Street in Los Angeles, also known as the Los Angeles Central Postal Facility, is a significant architectural and historical landmark. Completed in 1934, this building is a prime example of the Beaux-Arts style, featuring a grand façade with classical detailing and an imposing presence. Its design reflects the importance of the postal service during that era and showcases the artistry of the time.
The building's interior is equally noteworthy, with elegant spaces and intricate design elements that highlight the period’s craftsmanship. Over the years, it has been a vital center for mail distribution and has played an important role in the city's development.
Despite the changes in postal operations and usage over the decades, the facility remains a prominent example of historical architecture and an enduring symbol of Los Angeles' growth and modernization. Its preservation and continued significance make it a valuable landmark in the city’s architectural heritage.

This has to be one of the worst post offices in the area. The staff are incredibly condescending, snickering at me when I asked for help. They scoffed when I asked for one piece of tape whereas other post offices will give a little tape as a courtesy. He made me buy an entire roll. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this post office - there are plenty of better ones in the area

Michael was very helpful and attentive. He was very friendly and helped me with what I needed to do quickly and efficiently. The location is great as well. The parking isn't as ample as people in these reviews make it out to be. The parking is usually packed, and the parking lines are drawn strangely to where people mispark their cars so sometimes one car takes up two spaces.Besides that there's no long line and wait. Quiet and Clean. Just don't think that the parking lot is huge and plentiful like how these reviews make it out to seem because its not. It is a huge parking lot but half of it is blocked off for employees.

This place could be cool if it wasn't for the older asian guy with the sides of his head shaved and his hair gel'd back. He is condescending and came off as a racist when he helped me at the counter. Two stars cause the place looks cool and the other staff member seemed nice.

Unbelievable customer service. Carina is one of the most kind, patient and professional people Ive ever encountered in any USPS in the country. No exaggeration. Thank you !

They do not deliver our packages and still mark them as delivered!! Isn’t this a crime? False reporting of my federal mail? Just asking. I order things online but they do not arrive; also, I paid for a PO BOX but they did not provide me with a residential address even after saying they would. That’s the whole reason I paid for it. The clerk said just use the building address and put my PO BOX zip code. Is there any way to receive my money back?

When it comes to sending important documents, I trust this Post Office for its outstanding value. The registered mail service here is second to none in terms of affordability. While the service quality is generally excellent, there have been minor delays occasionally. However, the value for the price paid far outweighs these minor inconveniences. I'd recommend this Post Office for anyone seeking a cost-effective way to send important mail securely.
