If I could give this place zero stars I would. Opens at 11. Closes at 130pm for an hour and a half lunch. Then closes at 4pm. What a waste of taxpayers money

I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding a recent experience I had at one of your USPS locations. The USPS locator tool directed me to '505 S Flower ST in Los Angeles, CA, 90017' to pick up my package. I drove there, spent nearly 50 minutes looking for parking, and navigated the facility as directed.
Upon arriving, I politely asked an associate about my package. Without even checking the tracking number or attempting to verify any details, the associate abruptly dismissed me and stated that the package was not there. When I calmly requested that they at least double-check using the tracking number, the associate became aggressive, raised their voice, and told me I was “wasting their time.” They then directed me elsewhere without providing any assurance or assistance.
This level of rudeness and unwillingness to help — especially after I was already misdirected by USPS’s own system — is unacceptable. I expect professional and courteous service, and I was shocked by the hostility I encountered.
Please investigate this matter and let me know what steps will be taken to ensure this does not happen again — to me or to any other customer. I would also appreciate assistance in confirming the correct location of my package, as I have already wasted a significant amount of time and effort.

William (the clerk) is so problematic person. I came to send some some dog’s food and mats for donation and just asked him is he can check it for me how much it will cost, and the scale is staying right on front of him but he made so much trouble. He says pack your stuff and bring here I can’t carry the box that’s why I was carrying them in a bag. And then he said that he can’t help me so he has to close the office for a 45 minutes. There are ppl are coming to send their stuff but he is not helping them either instead keep telling them that I’m causing trouble so he has to close the office for break.
After I carried my bags, take my son and dog to find another location. We found a UPS near by and the clerk over there were so professional and were doing so good with everyone. You can see the pictures that I attached they are from the UPS and look they don’t needed any box or anything to check the price for me. After I was good with the coast they boxed for me. There were more ppl than in this place and William couldn’t even help one person by making it so problematic letting his ego win not being professional.
Better not to come this location.

There was a black man associate at the post office in the Paul Hastings Building Arco USPS. He was extremely rude to me because I arrived to ship off my friend’s ID to New Jersey about 15 minutes before closing.
When I asked him about the cost of priority shipping he ignored me and told me look it up myself and told me to come back tomorrow during “normal” business hours. When I asked for a pen he told me to find one. I told him he didn’t have to be rude to me he then said he wasn’t and I explained that he had an inappropriate tone with me.
He then pointed at me and made awkward gestures towards me and proceeded to LOCK ME in the Post office as I was the last patron there. I felt humiliated and I found his behavior to be very unprofessional.
As a black woman I felt a lot of unnecessary colorism coming from this guy and it wasn’t even that serious. It took every bit of 5 minutes for him to process my order and I will be complaining to his district manager in the future. I wouldn’t be surprised if my package gets “lost” in the mail. Do not come here if this guy is working. The usual Asian American gentleman that is there is lovely and never treated me that way.

I've come here twice in the past week and a few things worth noting before you go:
1) Expect a line
2) There's only one cashier
I don't know what's going on with USPS in general because every time I go to a location, the place is run down and falling apart. Having just one cashier working is unacceptable. If you have three desks, use them. This location is in Downtown Los Angeles so I'm confused who thought that one cashier would suffice. Lastly, if you're working you shouldn't have your Airpods in. You work for federal agency, let's take more pride in our work attire. This place needs a serious renovation and more workers, do with that what you will.

It looks like the lunch hours are up to staff member working, so you might come when the shop is completely locked and unavailable for service.

Great service. Challenging to find though...you have to take the escalator down to find it and then it's in the back. But worth finding!

I am extremely disappointed with the service at this USPS location. I had a critical package containing my passport sent from Washington, which was reported as "delivered" but I never received it. Despite multiple in-person visits to the office, no one was able to assist or provide a satisfactory explanation.
This incident not only caused significant inconvenience but also resulted in financial loss as I now need to urgently travel to Washington to obtain a new passport, incurring further expenses for the replacement and mailing.
I have already filed a complaint with the Postal Service Office of Inspector General Hotline. I hope this issue serves as a wake-up call for the staff to handle mail with the utmost responsibility and ensure that such negligence does not happen in the future.

If I could give zero stars for this place I would. I am a regular customer and the service has gone down hill. The pens they had this time around were broken and I had one character left to write into my address. The workers would not allow me to borrow a pen from them and mentioned that they had no pens available at all.
