This is my go-to post office because the staff are friendly and helpful and typically when I go (early morning) the wait time is totally reasonable. Parkings not ideal but there are usually a few spots on the street open if you can't wait a few mins for a spot to open up in the lot.

Love how kind and efficient and helpful this staff is every time I go in. For those who complain about the parking- if you go into the neighborhood around the bend, there is plenty available for you to mail your packages if the lot is full. I love that they always try to help me find the most affordable way to ship something and always have things stocked up.

The office located on Glendale Avenue in Atwater has wonderful in-office personnel but bad delivery service and it's management team has proven incapable of delving out proactive solutions to problems this office creates.Since 2007 when I moved to the residence, we have often received mail for other residences. We usually walk it over to the correct addressesIn February 2023 I received a text that an item intended as a gift had been delivered to my mailbox. When I arrived home the item was nowhere to be found. I contacted my next door neighbors who said the box was not left at their homesI filed an online inquiry with the USPS and received a phone call from an employee who assured me the package was delivered to my mailbox. I concluded the item had been stolen. However two days later the item was brought to my residence by a neighbor who does not live adjacent to my residencincorrecte package had been delivered several houses away perplexed me particularly since I was told by the USPS it was left at my homeOn 3/20/23 I discovered that an item that I paid $13.56 for was allegedly delivered at my residence on 2/17/23. I filed an inquiry and received from a woman named Cindy who said I waited too long to report the missing item and so there was nothing the USPS could do.It struck me as both incredible and obtuse that Cindy thought her response was in any way acceptable or appropriate and that a monetary loss to a customer is inconsequential. Cindy lacks the ability to comprehend that her employer has a responsibility to ensure mail is delivered to the correct destinations.I believe this problem was created by this postal location and delivery personnel who are carelessly delivering mail and packages to incorrect destinations.

The level of disrespect and condescension exhibited by the lady that works here was shocking. Literally bullied and berated me for no reason. Taking advantage of the fact that passport appointment takes over a month so I can't respond to her or walk away.

Worst customer service ever. Always big line which moves so slow. Limited parking spots. On top of that disrespecting customers constantly. They have ring they left message ring only once. Always have to wait 10-15 minutes to get respond. And I rang twice lady came out with attitude told me read this note it said ring once.I told her my first ring was 10 min ago. You gotta wait for parking plus waiting in line plus waiting behind the door to drop the package, even I have labels printed on packages. They should learn to respect customers time and change the attitude.

Customer service person was annoyed and rude to people. Extremely inappropriate rules she came up on her own. After she helped a person I went up to her window and told me that I have to wait in line to be called. I walked back to the line, while people had their eyes wide open in shock of her rude attitude. Mind you... her window was no more than five feet from the line. Then while I was still walking back to the line (3 steps away from her window) she called out "next customer in line". She basically could have told me to wait for a second while she finished right by the window instead of making me walk back and embarrassing a customer in front of all other customers. As soon as she saw me taking a picture of the survey scan code her entire aproach, tone and body language changed into a seemingly perfect employee. If these people are so unhappy with their jobs they should not be servicing customers. Clerk# 09 4:19pm on May 1st 2023

The service for the passport is trash! They take appointments only but they go by who shows up first! The ladies at the windows are nice and helpful, specially the Asian gal!

I don't like leaving bad reviews so went back to this location. I didn't go out of my way, just was a few blocks away. Found parking in lot right away. Wait time was about 10 mins as only one window open. Another window opened when I was next in line. Done in 2 minutes. The PO employee was kind enough to find one happy birthday stamp for me. Much better experience this time, but did find another PO I like better since last visit here.

Great customer service, patience and guidance. I was struggling from one post office, the clerk called out on Alvarado and Glendale). My service was for a passport. I found this location on yelp, I came to this one tired, frustrated and stressful. The clerk Roberto I believe that's his name if I caught it right, great service and put that smile on me. At times people don't know we go through and he flipped everything, great service and did a great impact. Thank you for your service.

Iv been a customer as plenty of others here in glendale and this postal service has gone downhill, customer service in the mornings is really slow, not enough employees they barely know any information.

I have been awaiting a delivery from Amazon being handled through the postal service. According to tracking, 3 attempts have been made stating that front door or driveway was not accessible. My house does not have a fence or gate to enter. Perhaps the delivery person just doesn't want to get off the vehicle. So for the last 2 weeks I've been waiting for this item. I have received everything else but items through USPS have been hit & miss. I signed up for text of the status of the delivery and those notices arrive after the so called attempted delivery.
