I utilize this particular USPS location as it's now my local branch since moving in this part of Los Angeles located in Hollywood and by far I have had the best experiences with simple customer service compared to three past local USPS locations I've had to deal with in other parts of LA County so I appreciate the time and effort given by the postal workers I've had the pleasure of assisting me with my postal service needs. Keep up the good work! Thank you all! I don't quite know your names yet but I will soon enough since you all will be seeing me more often. :)

I had an incredibly positive customer service experience with this location. I had a bad experience last week, which caused me to file a complaint at USPS.com Maria, from this location, called me and made arrangements to get my issue resolved. She was beyond attentive, even calling me later today to make sure that everything went well. All the staff were friendly and fantastic to interact with. Lee, who processed my passport application was fantastic. Thank you all for stepping up and showing how things should be done :)

Jul2025: absolutely awful customer service. They need to focus on providing information rather than fighting with their customers.
Has parking, is accessible, would not recommend, but not like you have any other choice.

If you’re paying for “hand canceling,” make sure you check the worker doing it in front of you or else he’s not going to do it and you paid for a service that was not provided.
I paid around $50, asked to hand cancel my wedding envelopes like five times, and the worker said he will make sure it’s done.
All of my wedding guests received damaged envelopes, and they were shown as not “hand canceled.” I don’t know why it’s that difficult to follow a simple direction…or the workers are just lazy.

We’ve been coming here for many years and are very happy with the service. If you ever have questions, the staff are always ready to help and provide answers.

I avoid this post office whenever possible. The staff are unhelpful, rude, and seem to take pride in making customers miserable. Once, the self-serve postage machine was down, forcing me to wait over 20 minutes in line. One employee reprimanded me for not writing the address directly on the box (which isn't necessary when using the automated machine, as it prints the address on the postage), even though I had the address on a post-it note. He refused to type it in and print the label for me because I didn’t have a pen. He begrudgingly loaned me a marker but then told me to get back in line instead of letting me wait nearby while he helped other customers. After another 20-minute wait, I reached the counter again, refused his help, and asked for someone else. Naturally, they slapped a big computer-printed label over all my handwriting anyway. Infuriating.
Another time, I tried dropping off a prepaid package just before closing in the quick drop area, only to have an employee standing watch over the bin wag her finger at me and point to a flimsy sign that said “no dropoffs after 5pm,” even though they don’t close until 6pm.
This team seems intent on making customers jump through hoops rather than providing decent service. It feels lazy, and like they’ve all got an axe to grind. I’ve since switched all my business to UPS and even drop USPS packages with them because, at least there, customers are treated with respect.

Absolutely unacceptable behavior from a staff member named Rymete (or something similar).
From the moment I walked in, she was hostile, aggressive, and completely unprofessional.
I came in to ask a simple question and was met with attitude and unnecessary rudeness, as if I had done something wrong just by existing.
I stayed calm until the end, but it was clear she was trying to provoke a reaction.
USPS is a public service — people deserve to be treated with at least basic respect. If this is the kind of person representing your organization, something is seriously wrong.
I’ve never had such a horrible experience at any postal location. Train your staff better — or at least make sure they understand they’re not above basic human decency.

Worst post office in the world. 5 people doing nothing, only one person in charge of passport. She took care of one person and told everyone to come back in 15 minutes because she needs a break at 11am. 3 people had to leave the post office without applying for a passport. No one else agreed to help. No manager on site per employees. Horrible service, they all should get fired.

The absolute worst experience trying to get my passport. Like a responsible adult, I made an appointment to get my passport and showed up early. When I walked in they proceeded to tell me no one was here for passport services. They told me i could go to a nearby po & they would take me, drove over there and they told me they don’t do passport services. Came back here and they said to come back and they would squeeze me in. I came back and they proceeded to tell me they wouldn’t have time for me. When I asked them why they let people make appointments when no one is present they proceeded to tell me it was their “day off.” Ridiculous.

Since when do you get turned away from dropping off an already labeled package after 5 pm, the post office doesn't even close until 6pm. They tape up the package drop off and take the big bin away. I was told they don't accept packages after 5pm. Doesn't matter if you don't need it shipped out that day or not. So when are people that work supposed to drop off their packages? Most inconvenient BS ever.

What’s the point in having a phone number if nobody ever answers the phone? I’m unable to add instructions to my redelivery so I thought I would call the usps phone line. They couldn’t add instructions either.
I’ve had two “attempted deliveries” where I’ve been in my house waiting for the delivery. No buzz on the door, no phone call. Just an email informing me I missed the delivery. What am I supposed to do? Sit on my stairs outside and wait for them all day?! Never had so many issues with a “delivery service” wish I could give them zero stars.

I absolutely love this Los Feliz USPS, have lived in LA 7 years and it's the only one I go to...the friendliest staff, a few I know by name. Its clean and extremely well run...I'd give them 10 stars if I could!

Takes your money from 5-6 but will not take in packages then and they tape up the kiosk boxes inside as well.
