Cautious for their waiting time here and miss treatment as discussed already with doctor. Seems like they are too busy to spend quality time to you&your pets

They said they were capable of dental caps on the phone, so I took off work and drove 6 hours to visit. Turns out they don't, so that was a waste of time and money. I don't need to pay a doctor to tell me my dogs teeth don't need to be pulled, I need an assessment to see if she could benefit from caps. ?Otherwise they seem like a nice establishment, up to West Hollywood standards.

I've been bringing my dogs here since 2003. I haven't had much issues especially my dogs were just in and out getting vaccines and getting appointments were not very difficult for checkups either. I'm also part of their membership. Today I showed up thinking I had an appointment but got my days mixed up. But I told the front desk my dog has an open wound and if anyone can just get me in and out. My dog isn't old or have any health issues. They literally just needed to help her stop bleeding and maybe give her a cone. But nope, they couldn't even fit me in tomorrow. They said to come back at the end of the month. I've asked if I can see a Vtech instead or even another location. They said we can't help you but you can try going there and see if they'll take you. Like WTF do you want me to do in the mean time. Fucking makeshift bandaid. I understand as healthcare workers it can be never ending. But seriously an open wound. Not even a fucking cream. If they are treating their regulars this way, imagine the way you're going to get treated if you're not.

If I could give a zero I would, these people are here collecting money and being difficult, save your money and sanity go somewhere else, from the staff at the front desk to the vet, a zero all around

Turns out after checking with outside sources in Miller Robertson VCA Hospital is considered a less than great organization. I've been told they have a reputation for overcharging their customers and gouging them. We experience what we think may be that today when our doctor told us she could not provide us with travel documentation we had to go to an outside vendor for $750. However, I called two other doctors in town and they would be willing to do it with the price of an exam so it sounds like they're getting paid off the top from the travel service and screwing the customer.

Pros: Dr. Lomond is great. She's very caring and Always remembers my pets and their quirks. It's clean and well managed. I trust their judgement. Cons: getting an appt is difficult. It is going to be weeks, sometimes months, out depending on the service. They seem to always be running behind and things take a long time. CareClub is pushed heavily and is expensive. Overall, you'll get very good care but definitely expect it to be expensive and you'll need patience. It's really about your priorities on quality over speed/cost.

The hospital is extremely busy and unfortunately that makes the experience very difficult and unpleasant. Just to refill a prescription be ready to call multiple times , put on hold with a long wait and wait another 24-48 hours to get the refill , they have an app that supposedly you can order a refill and they would tell you to use it but when you try it tells you to call! great doctors but they need more stuff at the front !

My cat was extremely ill and was getting worse. I didn't want to see him suffer so I decided the best thing to do was to euthanize him. I called around to other animal hospitals. VCA Miller-Robertson put me on the wait list for the same day. I called them at 10am, by 12pm they said that they had a 1230pm opening. I am so extremely grateful for them taking my cat in such short notice. Everyone was kind and understanding, from reception to the veterinary assistants to the doctor. As sad as the situation was, they made me feel at ease. I can't thank them enough.

I've been avoiding making this review for so long but I have truly had enough. My dog will never come back here. This is going to be long because they dont care so I have to express it here. I started taking my dog to this office because I got a voucher when I rescued him. Long story short, my dog has the worst case of anxiety the staff has ever seen-- their words. The worst case of reactivity and anxiety several trainers and everyone on the street have ever seen to the point where he has exhausted several trainers' techniques and I've had to keep finding new ones which is EXPENSIVE. In order for him to even EXIST, he needs to be on medication.VCA knows all this, yet, everyone you talk to in there gives you a different story. MONTHS of begging them for some help, and they keep giving me the same medication with the same dose despite me telling them several times that the medication is not working, he's actually acting WORSE on it, can we try something else. I was totally ignored when I expressed that I was mad they kept prescribing the same medication I keep saying doesnt work and that's my money down the drain. A lady calls me one day and tells me that my dog actually needs a combination of two medications where he has only been getting the one... so we start that, and she was super nice, but the pills still had no effect.I put my foot down the last appointment with the vet when not even the vets and techs could manage to hold him for too long. The vet tells me that actually, the medication Ive been pushing against is only a chihuahua sized dose and he is 60lbs... so he needs like 3 TIMES the amount we've been giving him for it to mean anything, and we have to give it to him twice a day! This is about 6 months down the line by the way..Since we've started that, better late than never, he has been able to live a drastically more normal and fulfilled life. We continue to train him every day and hope to get him off the pills soon. Until then, i dont see why when i need a refill authorization, the pharmacy and I have to call and text them for over a week and no one even spits in my direction. His medication was supposed to SHIP 4 days ago. So who knows when i'll actually GET it because no one even RESPONDS.

The vets are wonderful here, however the wait times are absurd. My appointment was at 4pm today with a vet tech for a blood draw. The tech came out at 4:26pm and told me it’d be an additional 30 minutes of my cat waiting in the back to have her blood drawn because they’re busy. I understand staffing shortages are affecting many businesses, but there needs to be transparency with the front staff assuring owners waiting that they’ll be seen shortly, and take a look at how patients are being scheduled to find a solution. My previous appointment was my two cats’ yearly checkup. It was a blood draw on both plus a rabies vaccine and an upper respiratory vaccine. In total that appointment took 1.5 hours from start to finish. It’s frustrating because basic checkups shouldn’t take this amount of time to complete. Please fix this, and train the front staff to show awareness and concern for people waiting on the bench long past their appointment times. We love our vet here, but are seriously considering switching since our time isn’t being respected.

Very unprofessional and unqualified staff working here! Highly not recommend to come here for any reasons. People just waisted your time. They can no do any work. Better choose any other place but not this awful hospital !!!

The front desk was neither professional nor polite enough. Last time I made appointment for my two cats through the phone, but when I arrived they said I only have one cat on the record and they couldn’t accept the other cat if I didn’t schedule before. I argued with them and they accepted both cats, but the experience was really frustrating! They also wrote down the wrong name for one of my pets when I came there the first time, and wrote my name wrongly the second time! The atmosphere was not friendly as well. It was so annoying. They never apologized. Definitely not gonna visit there again.

This veterinary center has no regard for the well-being of your pet. They put profits over (pet) patients and are willing to let your loved one suffer. ETA after community management response: I specifically requested a call back from the supervisor to discuss my grievances further and was told they would be left a message. Nobody has reached out to me....

We have trusted VCA Miller with our babies for years because they are always so kind and helpful. There is nothing more stressful than needing to bring your pet in to the vet. They make it so much easier by simply being kind, professional and patient with their clients. Recently, my dog needed surgery with Dr. Torres who was amazing. She did an excellent job and was incredibly helpful to keep the cost down as much as possible. She was very hands on as well and checked in throughout the healing process. We never felt forgotten or disregarded. Keep it up and thank you again for a great experience!!!

Up until today I was willing to drive from Koreatown to West Hollywood for my dog's vet needs. The past month or so it has been a nightmare in bad communication, lack of explanation, and arguing with me. I will not return here again and will begin searching for a new vet who, along with vet techs, communicate clearly, nicely, and calmly. A tech who knows the difference between a c-scan and an x-ray (they do not provide c-scans, although that's what I was told my dog was getting.) The world is crazy enough. Service providers do not need to make it worse.
