“I usually end up waiting a very long time past my appointment time before my pet is seen. And I understand that there is usually only one vet working at a time, but if you make an appointment just make sure you set aside at least 2 hours. Otherwise staff is friendly and the vet is great and knowledgeable.”

I take them here for all their treatments, including vaccinations and their sterilization procedures, and everything has always gone wonderfully. “After having my two cats for a long time at a particular vet (not Center Sinai) I was beginning to experience issues where after having a visit or running tests I could never get a vet or anyone to walk through with me the details of lab results that were not normal or other physical situations the cats were experiencing. Additionally the prices for every service seemed to be going sky high. Every solution to an issue was some expensive test or screening that were the price of a good used car. A friend of mine suggested Center Sinai and I brought my two cats there for an introductory general checkup, rerun lab results, xray one cat's hip etc. The vet was incredibly informative and took the time to walk through everything with me. The xray showed some arthritis and a shot was given that has vastly improved my cat's pain level and quality of life. A non-general anesthesia teeth cleaning was recommended for one of the cats which I never knew existed (my former vet would only do the anesthesia one which among other things stresses the pet and cost thousands of dollars). One cats abnormal lab results from the former vet were reviewed and deemed not alarming (the former vet assistant told me the vet considered them alarming and said a sonogram costing thousands would need to be done) re-ran the lab and everything was normal. I am extremely happy to have found a caring, fair and informative vet for my cats and am relieved to be done with a vet I felt I could no longer trust.”
“They are probably the best Vet Clinic I have ever been to. Dr. Robins was great and attentive to my little Ellie (cat). She truly cared about her well-being and focused on getting her better instead of adding unnecessary services.
When you first walk in, you feel welcomed and everyone seems so happy to work there. They treat all the animals with respect and care. They have a waiting area inside and outside as well, which I think is great for our nervous furry friends.
The wait time is a little high, but it is so worth it. They are literally focusing on every single animal and making sure they get the best service. So, of course, it will take some time. They do their best to take in as many appointments as possible so there is no walk-in availability.
But if you call on the same day the moment they open, they might just let you in for a same day appointment. It's not a guarantee, though.
They accept care credit, and if eligible, sunbit. I think it is amazing because not many vets have options for payment plans besides care credit.
I think options like these are great for people like me who have more than 1 furry friend.
I really suggest giving them a try. They really won't disappoint. They are super open about their prices, which honestly are not even remotely close to high. And the best part is they don't try to over sell!

“I was really happy with their service and flexibility. I went in after walking out of my regular vet because the bill was too high and they would not give me any alternative options. After paying crazy amounts in vet bills for various situations in the past few months I was starting to feel financially manipulated by vets so I shopped around a bit and echo park gave me a rough estimate over the phone and was very flexible in person. I went in twice for follow ups which I might have been afraid to do somewhere else. Very grateful for them accommodating me and my kitty!

“Dr. Chung is a very warm-hearted, bright-aura, confident and reliable female doctor. I don't like lazy doctors, but she is quick to deal with problems and make decisions. She speaks English, Japanese and Korean fluently, which really helped me out when I was panicking at other hospitals. The room temperature was just right. My baby was wrapped in warm cloths and pillows and was able to be hospitalized in a very good environment. There are many cold places in the hospital, like a refrigerator, and my cat gets cold easily, so I was very relieved. I met the receptionist and other doctors, and everyone was kind. I will continue to come here.Thank you so much.”
“I've been going to VCA Brentwood Animal Hospital since I moved to LA, 25 years ago. Everything about the operation is first-rate, but the REAL reason I've been so loyal, despite moving further away from the Olympic Blvd. offices, is Dr. Carvalho!! She's a terrific vet - gets to the point, doesn't shy away from bad news, doesn't look for it, either! Neither complacent nor alarmist, Dr. Carvalho has navigated me through all kinds of crises and near crises with a number of beloved dogs and cats. I wouldn't go anywhere else.”
