Los Angeles“I would like to share my incredible experience at Cahuenga Veterinary. It is, by far, the most wonderful hospital I've ever brought my dear dachshund Lucy to. Lucy had to have a radical surgery to remove numerous mammary tumors. I was terrified for her to have this surgery until I met the amazing Dr Pedraza. He is the most kind and compassionate doctor that I've ever encountered, as well as being a master of complex surgeries. I am so grateful that I found him! Dr. Pedraza also finds time in his hectic schedule to take care of homeless animals in need of his brilliant skills. What an awesome human being he is! Delaney, his wonderful nurse, was so reassuring and gentle with my Lucy. She assured me that she would stay by Lucy's side throughout the surgery, and she did! I knew that Lucy was in the best care ever. I only briefly met Dr. Christian, the owner of this wonderful clinic, but he must be an awesome doctor to bring together all of these incredibly skilled and compassionate doctors and nurses. I must also include dear Mystic in reception. Even with the phones ringing constantly, she found time to be warm and gracious to me. I would give 100 5- stars if I could!!”
“Everyone was so nice. We're looking to adopt a couple kitty's soon. We went to check it out for the first time. I was amazed at the space they have there!”

275 S Atlantic Blvd Unit B, Los Angeles“Personally, good service. The receptionist is welcoming. The place looks modern and clean. Smells new too. The doctor was okay. He was brief with his explanation. I think the supporting staff was able to provide me with the information I needed. I went in for a check up for my 9 year old cat. I paid 721 dollars. This included, consultation, rabies shot, blood work, urine test, xrays, a bio hazard fee, and sedation. (Not sure if this is cheap or not) I have pet insurance so it will Offset 80% of the cost after deductible. I hope this helps some of you.”

12108 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles“All personnel were very caring and treatment was comprehensive. They texted me a half hour before the vet was ready to see us which saved a lot of time. Excellent service!”
“Dr. Lopez was amazing, answer all my questions. She's explained everything very thoroughly with no hesitations. The staff was amazing. They were able to take me in on the same day. Everyone there is so friendly, felt very welcomed right when I walked in. Thank you for everything. Once again, you are all amazing.”
“Super caring, helpful staff. My Dalmatian had an ear infection on and off for 3 years and finally a vet addressed possible underlying causes I thought might be the problem. Vet recommended to switch her food, I did-and infection went away! So grateful.”

8AM - 6PM
1800 S Robertson Blvd #8, Los Angeles“The staff and vets here are amazing. They also now use an app so you can download docs and see vaccines. It’s been easy to get feedback over email when we’re unsure whether to come in”
“I took my pug Leah here for vaccines and I paid 60$ for all of them! Super affordable :) VETCO charges 230$ for a full set of vaccines yikes and I work there too . I love how they take care of her . Even though the wait can be long , they got her in and out and she was fine when we got home. If you have brachycephalic breed for a spay be sure to understand there's a possibly of them not making it . My pugs all have been spayed there and one of them almost did not make it . The team did thankfully successfully finished the procedure and she was ok :)”

28916 S Western Ave, Los Angeles“We had another appointment with our exotic animal doctor. Our guinea pig is breathing better, but still has a lot of sniffling. We left with more supplements and a prescription for additional antibiotics. Pleased that the exotic animal doctor also consulted with her colleagues to confirm the x-rays of our guinea pig.”
“Had my cat neutered and With great care the animal hospital took care of my kiwi. I did have to wait 20 minutes at drop off, even with appointment . At pick up I waited 45 minutes for them to call my name. Great service”
“Highly recommend this place. Dr. Debbie is amazing. She even follows up on the phone, which is incredibly rare these days. When my beloved 18-year-old dog passed away, Dr. Debbie sent a very kind note, and even got on the phone with me when I needed to talk. (My dog didn't pass away at VMC -- Dr. Debbie was just willing to talk to me because she cares.) All of this and I had only met her once. I wish I had found this place sooner. Sadly, it likely wouldn't have made a difference in my pup's passing (she had a sudden blood clot in the lungs, which can't be predicted) but I still think my pup's care would have been more compassionate at VMC than where I was taking her at the time. And I know my peace of mind would have been better as well. If you're looking for a vet practice to trust with your soul animal, this is the place.”
9AM - 4:30PM
2038 S Sepulveda Blvd, Los Angeles“My Cocker Spaniel, Goldy, has been under Dr. Pasternak's care for about four years. Last summer, she developed a stubborn ear infection persisting for three months. Despite trying various drops, pills, and ointments with little success, Dr. Pasternak surprised me by prescribing supplements instead of antibiotics. Remarkably, my 12-year-old dog is now as lively as a puppy, her ears have cleared up, cysts around her body have diminished, and her energy is through the roof. Dr. Pasternak's holistic approach, integrating traditional and alternative therapies, impressed me with its comprehensive care. His emphasis on addressing root causes rather than just symptoms reflects a commitment to overall pet well-being. Clear communication and personalized treatment plans further contributed to this positive experience.Thank you Dr.Pasternak and your team!”

333 S Alameda St Ste 222, Los Angeles“I've been coming to this vet for over a year now. My dog Winston has been well taken care of. Everyone is so nice. I'm so glad to finally find a place that I can trust to take care of my little man Thank you everyone:)”
“Best vet in LA. I don't think he's taking new patients though. Dr Reina is a compassionate vet who truly cares about our furry ones. He's taken wonderful care of my cats, dog and even my pet rat! Who else makes a little oxygen tent for a little rat with upper respiratory infection!! I'll cry when he retires. There can be a long wait if they're crowded, but since Covid you wait in the car & they call you in.”
“i had my first visit here tonight as a walk-in. reception, the vetrinarian, & vet techs were all very polite, efficient, & helpful.
the exam was quick yet thorough —they even noticed that my dog had an ear infection as well, something that i was unaware of & had been missed during her recent vet visit.
the cost was reasonable for the services provided and there were no added hidden fees like so many other emergency/urgent care vets charge.
+i love that they have late hours available.
highly recommend!”

333 S Spring St, Los Angeles“I am SO happy I decided to go with this vet when moving to the city. All of the staff are incredibly friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. As soon as we walk in, they come out to say hello to my pup and give her lots of love. Dr. Coward and Dr. Endo have been fabulous and really know their stuff. I definitely feel like she is in good hands here.”
“We just took our two captured cats in for their first check up, chips, and vaccines, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The staff was great, they were good with our cats, and the whole experience was just a lot less painful than it could’ve been. I would definitely recommend them.”
“Great service! Everyone was very friendly and eager to help. The veterinary was very informative and helpful. I've been going with them for 3 years now and I've never had any issues. Thank you for taking care of my pets' health!”
“Had a nice visit with Dr. Jordan today. My dog is a bit anxious but I was allowed to hold her the whole time so that was helpful for us both. They also told me the cost upfront so I didn't feel duped by any surprise fees.”
“Despite as others may comment. I've been taking my pups for the past 13 years here. The staff is wonderful. You can tell they love animals and help as much as possible.Unlike other vets, they explain what is wrong or great about your pet. I'm a 1000 question gal, and they answer every single one as best to their knowledge or they direct me to the main vet.Lucy is one of the main reasons why i continue to take my babies there. She is very knowledgeable and makes sure you get the help you need as soon as possible.I have 2 other vets as backups (we all need back ups) but this one has to be #1.Yes its a little pricy for my personal income but, quality vs quantity. The only thing i wish was if they were open either a little longer during the week or if they were open Saturdays.Other than that keep up the amazing work and thank you for helping us with our babies! ?Max, Cody & Saidey?”
7:30AM - 6PM
11511 W Washington Blvd, Los Angeles“We came in for a second opinion and the dx was vastly different from the first vet. The first vet said that my cat needed flea medicine, dental scaling/extraction, X-ray, bloodwork, etc... over $1800. How do these shady vets sleep at night? CPAH vet examined her and gave his professional advice. He said her teeth were good and didn't try to upsell us on unnecessary x-rays and dental cleaning. They also accept CareCredit which is great! CPAH staff are so friendly and helpful. They even made her a pet ID card!”
“I would leave 20 stars if I could! WOW! I cannot sing their praises enough! I was looking for a new vet to take my babies to and found AHCC on yelp and I am SO happy I did. The entire staff is so sweet and knowledgeable. You can tell they genuinely passionate about animal health and not just there for the money. Do not hesitate to bring your babies here! You won't regret it!”
“I'm happy my friends recommended Eagle glen vet. My pet had a appointment this week and the doctor was kind and knowledgeable. The staff was friendly and kind, they showed my kitten lots of love. I recommend this vet to anyone.”
“Dr. Vardi and his staff are absolutely amazing! They are so caring and hard working. I see reviews about their clinic and I have to disagree. I have been taking my 16-year-old dog to Shelter Vet since she was a puppy, they have given her the best care. Due to the many patients they have and small staff, I have experienced long wait times but I understand how impacted they are with the amount of patients they have. I am more than happy to wait in the waiting room to ensure my pup has the best care. I tend to book appointments a week or two before so I can make proper accommodations. Medications and exams are expensive but ensuring my pet has the best care is more important to me. With that being said I am happy to continue my relationship with the Shelter Vet, they are the best! Update: Please be aware that Dr.Vardi is available M-F. I highly recommend going to Dr.Vardi first then book weekend appointments. Dr. Vardi is a very busy person so please be patient.”
“We've always been treated excellently at Mohawk Alley, even when the reasons we've had to go there haven't been the best. Our dog has always had the best care, and when the time came to let our cat go we were supported and cared for in the most beautiful way. Kind staff, easy to make appointments”
“Everyone is stellar at their job. It's a place where every piece of the puzzle is fully functional and qualified to make wonderful and sometimes impossible things happen. The vets are really good. They saved my dogs (I have 3) from tumor surgery removal to chronic kidney overview care, pain management for my dogs, personal advice on quality of life and the list goes on. I trust each and every 1 of the doctors and have a soft spot for the eldest of them. The staff: Reign, Jacob and every single nurse/front desk personnel is efficient, knowledgeable and deeply empathetic. I would never leave a review for anything but for my team at this vet office i HAVE to! Ladies, you are incredible and doctors you are well deserved of praise! thank you PLB vet for your contribution to our local community. I wish I could return a fraction of the positive influence you guys had in my life. THANK TOU, thank you, thank you!”
8AM - 5:30PM
11343 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles“Was only briefly at PAC as we are moving cities but really love them! Not pushy and very friendly doctors. They are very knowledgeable and really care for your pets! Special shoutout to Dr.Karron who has helped us out extra with our dog Nala.”
“Lovely is the only way I can describe it! The Vet Assistants are super friendly and understanding and so are the Doctors I've met so far. The receptionists are very attentive and will do their best to make you feel welcomed. My cat was stressed and they tried to help by telling him how handsome he was. (P.S it worked). Vet clinic visits have always been stressful for me but I can honestly say I trust them with my pet's care!”
“I am sorry you are reading this but that means you are trying to ensure you find the best final goodbye for your pet. I want to share my experience to hopefully help ease any of your nerves. We helped my sweet pup cross the rainbow bridge on December 30, 2023 but haven't had the mindset to fully revisit the final goodbye. I called heart and halos a couple times, the first time to was once we were beginning to consider euthanasia and I just wanted information and linh was very sweet. I called two times during the next few weeks to check on their availability until we were really ready to let go. We wanted to wait until after Christmas to enjoy having our sweet boy with us one last time but wanted a back up plan in case we thought he wouldn't make it. I was informed it was an extra $200 on holidays (not eve) but otherwise same price on weekends. We paid around $600 for my baby boy but they have different prices depending on after care packages and pet weight. Overall, linh had a big impact on us deciding on Heart and halos as she was very patient and compassionate. I had called other euthanasia places and they were rude and just wanted to know if you wanted to book now or would hang up. Your receptionist is a big representative of the company. About 15 minutes before our appointment time, we got a phone call from a private number to let us know their ETA. They arrived right at our appointment time, not a minute late. My judgment about the company was not wrong, Dr Susan was very sweet. Once they got to the house, I asked that her assistant wait outside and to only have Dr. Susan come inside after a few minutes while I settled into position with my baby boy. Dr. Susan went above and beyond to make sure my sweet boy did not see her. I held him on my chest sitting on our living room couch as she snuck in and kneeled behind the couch. With him facing the opposite direction, she administered the first injection. The only thing I wish I could have prepared for was that my baby did feel the first shot and it did sting him once it was administered. Nothing on the doctors practice, she even diluted it and gave me an option on how I would like the first shot, IV, IM or SQ. She recommended SQ for less pain and even advised she dilutes it with normal saline as part of her practice. As I registered nurse I know that this can happen with an injection, I just imagine it feels like getting a vaccine- very minimal pain compared to a natural death. Luckily my baby had been receiving sq fluids at the same site of the first sq injection, so my baby probably just thought I was poking him again for give him fluids. My baby boy was deep asleep within ** minutes and did not feel the second shot given intravenous. My baby boy crossed the rainbow bridge knowing he was loved, laying on my chest in the comfort of his own home. The experience of putting your childhood pet to sleep is something no one can truly prepare you for, I miss him everyday. But I rest in comfort knowing I chose the very best service to put him to rest.”
