“I love this store!!! I came in today hoping that I could get my dog groomed but, unfortunately the grooms were done for the day. I was bummed, but an employee, Jack explained how the groomers finish at a certain time, and booking an appointment is what I should do instead. Jack showed me Urban Pet has self wash stations! Gave me a quick run down of how it works and let me know of a daily deal on Mondays for the self wash. Jack gave me some fresh towels! After his bath they gave my pup some treats! My boy has chicken allergy, but Jack made sure to ask before giving him any. They also helped me out with some food recommendations for my pup's sister. Jack hooked it up with some samples and a free membership! Definitely will be coming back, people here know their stuff!!!”

“Everyone at this Healthy Spot location is amazing, but this review is especially for Esme, who bathes our sweetheart Buddy every 2 weeks. We've never had a long haired dog before, and he needs a lot of TLC! Esme noticed his dry, flaky skin and immediately had a solution - her oils have made a fantastic difference in his skin, especially during these cold winter months! I appreciate all of Esme's advice about how to manage his coat at home, too, between appointments. It's really wonderful to see how much Buddy trusts Esme, as you can see in this video. Esme is the best - and we're so lucky to have her caring for our handsome man. Anyone would be lucky to have such a thoughtful and kind person taking care of their fur baby!!!!”

“This place is so close to me but it was my first time finally going there for some fresh treats for my corgi. This was for his birthday and near Halloween time. They had SOOOO many options and I bought a little too many. They had themed treats and even dog safe chocolate!! I had no idea that even existed. My dog loved the treats and he didn't have stomach issues from them.”

“Took my shy boy to this place (it was both our first times) and it took him a little while to get used to all the sites and smells and sounds here but he ended up loving it (ask me about the turkey neck he ate that I had to pay for lol). “Exactly a year ago I stumbled into healthy spot with a dog who had been spray painted blue that I randomly found wandering through DTLA and came in for a grooming. Out came out Luz. I didn't have much to go off of, I had never groomed any dog at Healthy Spot before. After leaving that day with a newly fresh dog, I realized how amazing Luz was. Today I brought in my first dog. He's 9, (and officially siblings with the blue dog I mentioned earlier). Gosh. To have a groomer so honestly tell me what ways I could be better with my dog at home, and unabashedly told me what was causing some of his pain, was incredible. I am a first time dog owner. Although I have had my dog for a few years, I'm still a forever student when it comes to being a parent. I so rarely find vets that will tell me exactly what I can do to make sure my dog is comfortable at home, so to have Luz, outright tell me what was causing his pain, which was absolutely avoidable on my end, I am forever grateful. Luz put my dog and his well being over everything else. Luz did such a fantastic job grooming him - and I wish I could do more than just write a silly Yelp review. So I hope this gets some traction at Healthy Spot and groomers that go above and beyond get rewarded because today, the service, was exceptional. Thank you for making sure my dog is comfortable and educating me on ways I can do that at home. It means the world to me.”

“This review is long overdue. Ever since me and my girlfriend moved to LA, this has been our go to pet store. We get everything for our dog here and always leave satisfied. We usually come for the self wash as our dog sheds too much for us to wash him at home. They offer a prepaid self wash card that is an absolute bargain. For about $15 they provide you with shampoo, conditioner, and a strong blow dryer - perfect for our pups thick coat. There's also a great selection of food, treats, and toys. I highly recommend subscribing to their email promotions. There's usually a solid store wide discount every few months and that's when we stock up on food and toys for him. The staff are always friendly and happy to assist. I've never had a bad experience here and can't recommend this place enough!”

“Absolutely love this doggie bakery!!! I always make it a point to make a purchase for my furry companion when at the grove or farmers market to be specific. Yes it's pricey but it's worth it. All of their doggie pastries are made fresh from three simple ingredients. My dog loves them all!!! This time I got her some cheesy crunchy treats that look like Cheetos and she loved them!!! I also got her some favorites the burger and the cheesy cupcake. I was also happy they had packaged holiday treat boxes that I got for my parents dog as a Christmas gift which she loved!!! Highly recommend this from dog bakery when at the grove as there's a huge selection of treats, toys and pet supplies!!!”

But I found my people at the Berverly Grove location!Kaely and her manager did everything to help me find the pet carrier I had seen on their website.Though they didn’t have it at her store, Kaley called several locations and asked them to hold the bag for me. But when the other location said they couldn’t hold it, Kaely said she’d speak to her manager.They even went to the other store to get it for me.
