“Fun place to shop and take pictures but BE AWARE that there are absolutely no bathrooms here! We had to go the nearest Starbucks and the line for the bathroom had like 20 people. The public bathroom for J town requires a key but all the stores that we went to inside claimed to not have one. Other than that it's fun but just know there are no bathrooms besides that one Starbucks”
“This store has fresh high quality products without synthetics and I like that this store offers daily packets of individual mulitvits as well as in powdered form. It has been very hard to find daily packets of multivits at any local nutritional store. As a teenager I was usually very deficient in iron, folic acid, etc however I became health conscious in 1984 when I was offered a job in the juice bar at Peter Gillham's and after taking the mulitvits I noticed that my nails became long and strong and I was generally healthier. I used to prepare Mr. Gillham's favorite drink called "Bohemian Protein Drink" with pineapple coconut juice and delivered it to his office upstairs on the corner of Catalina and Fountain. I have become very inspired by Mr. Gillham's knowledge of health and nutrition that I'm educating my boyfriend on nutrition and I plan on cleaning out his cupboard of cheap bottles of generic vitamins and replacing them with Peter Gillham's multivitamins. I would like to continue to be supportive of this store even after 38 years. PS,, I am also kind of relieved that the store attendant that worked there in 2015 has moved on and is no longer smoking cigarettes near the entrance of this store .”
