Rudest and worst service from a pharmacy.

Well, damn. This was my local Walgreen's for the past seven years, and I realized I never bothered to review. I was even stupid enough to drive past-clearly not paying attention-and pull into the lot that was so familiar. When I went to the back door, it was hazy and dirty and I could clearly see there was nothing in there. Just for the heck of it, I went around to the front and it was surreal to see it cleaned out. Since I no longer live on this side of town-therefore, transferring my Walgreens about a year ago closer-I had no clue of the closure. I suppose after COVID issues, the shooting that occurred, and the amount of homeless, etc. that acquired in the area even more so over the past few years, this is what brought it down. This was a rather large store that had a large selection of stuff I thought I didn't need. As for the sushi, I never tried it since I don't eat it.

WOW! I am shocked to discover the place is permanently closed. I passed by earlier today and didn't even notice. That shows you how little I care about Walgreens. It's practically invisible to me. Years ago this was a Borders book store. They had lounge chairs to sit down, music listening stations, and public restrooms. One by one, they took away the amenities. The same thing happened with Walgreens. No more self-serve ice cream and other perks disappeared. Nobody was allowed to use the patio because it attracted too much riffraff. A few years ago, a security guard fatally shot a shoplifter and it was all downhill from there. Perhaps the high rate of theft, plus all the mentally unstable ruffians drove them out of business. The prices weren't that great and there was always a long line. So I rarely came here. The final nail in the coffin was when they covered their refrigerators with d*** digital displays, which everyone hated. Too many d*** gimmicks. I lways thought it was strange how they had a sushi counter. A drug store which tries to be a supermarket. It was weird. Farewell, Walgreens. You won't be missed.

Terrible pharmacy experience. It seems every pharmacy is out of pain meds. They really are in so much in demand right now....which makes it difficult for someone like me who has them prescribed for something. Walgreens has really lost their concept of being an excellent neighborhood pharmacy. They were out of what I needed and could not tell me if/when they'd have it in stock again. No solution whatsoever just a halfway apology. The wait is long, their inventory is not extensive and well, I'm not impressed with their service.

Please please please don't close this Walgreens!! Honestly the biggest, nicest, cleanest, most organized Walgreens of all the ones I've ever been to! I frequent this Walgreens often and It's the only thing keeping this part of Hollywood from tail-spinning!

I was shopping here on January 7th, 2022, and purchased a couple of items one of them being hair growth treatment which is about 48.00 dollars plus tax. This store is a one-stop shopping station that's clean, organized, & well supplied. That day I purchased a frozen Pizza, Sushi, hair growth treatment, 2 Reeses peanut butter cups, water, carrot cake, and toothpaste. The guys checking me out asked if I wanted a bag and if it was okay to put everything into that one bag, to which I replied Yes. He then turned his attention to his co-worker while bagging my stuff, so I wasn't paying much attention. He then hand me the bag and I walked out. On Monday, January 10th I wanted to start the hair treatment, but notice it wasn't in the bag. I looked everywhere & realized it as well as my toothpaste didn't make it into the bag. I went back hoping they wouldn't think I was crazy coming back 3 days later claiming I didn't receive my stuff, I spoke to the nice Latino guy who was ringing me up and explained, "That I purchased some stuff at their store on the 7th that didn't make it into my bag & was wonder if they had a location where if purchased merchandise were to be left behind, where would they put it?" He called a female co-worker whom I assume was the manager. She turned out to be so nice and looked for my stuff and in the end was nice enough to give me the stuff I didn't receive after showing her my receipt. Best service ever!!!!

Divorce Walgreens! Boycott the company. This is a horrible company that puts profits ahead of people. They are also incompetent and can be dangerous with pharmacy orders so make sure to check accuracy. Company rewards dollars is a poor program that could be discontinued at any time leaving the customer with a zero balance after you spend a lot to get these rewards dollars for future purchases. Redeem your points now to avoid losing them. Do not trust anything the company tells you. They might be hurting financially and will say anything not to lose more business. Photo lab is a disaster. Poor quality and they won't do anything about it. Sales prices are not really on sale. Prices are jacked up to abnormal high levels and then put on sale to where you might be still be paying 50% or more than you should many other places. Look at all the complaints against Walgreens and its very low ratings from hundreds and maybe thousands of people online. The company is hazardous and should be shut down. Here is what to do about Walgreens. Go to CVS or another pharmacy, any place but not Walgreens. Go to Walmart and other places like it for better values. Walgreens prices are a joke. The company might be doing poorly financially and have their customers overpay to try to compensate for their own incompetence. Better product selections elsewhere, and better service too. Contact the Attorney General in Walgreens home state of Illinois to file complaints. File in your home state too. The more people who file complaints, the better. Don't let these Walgreens rogues deceive or cheat you. Ban them from your shopping experience and show them who's boss: it's you, the customer, and the legal system in business to enforce that Walgreens plays fairly which it does not in my opinion. Get rid of Walgreens, and be healthier and happier. All imo, but lots of other similar opinions too.

Never thought I would be leaving a review for a Walgreens but after going to at least 5 within a 10 mile radius this is hands-down the best hidden location. Very little wait, staff is great and very responsive. Definitely worth the extra drive not going to the other the other locations on Highland or Wilshire that has horrible service/ rude employees. The pharmacists here are all friendly and helpful.

After having a mixup on a prescription at Walgreens pharmacy, I was referred to the pharmacy manager. After he rudely told me he had no time for me, I notified my doctor and took my business to CVS. One star is charitable.

Thank you for the community partnership with LA First African Methodist Church (FAME) to distribute the J&J Covid Vaccination. I appreciate that you partnered with this respected Church to elevate the priority and ensure that groups, largely Black LA community, had this pop-up vaccination opportunity. THANK YOU Walgreens and thanks FAME Church.

I know a lot of the reviews of this location have been abysmal, but for what it's worth, I've had pleasant and quick service at this location. I switched because the CVS next door was always putting up signs saying they weren't taking prescriptions or they'd close the drive through and they never kept my insurance information straight. My doctor warned me that she'd heard equally bad things about this Walgreens, but since I've switched, they've been prompt at filling prescriptions, even with new patients with complicated insurance issues. Yesterday, they lost power and closed for the afternoon, but when I went by at 6:50 this morning, a nice pharmacist or tech quickly worked on my RX. So, like most pharmacies in the area, I think they're pretty busy, but the people I've encountered have gone out of their way to assist me. I never feel like they're putting me off because my situation is too time consuming or annoying for them to deal with.

Walgreens at Midway and Frankford in Dallas, 75287, store #04013. I noticed there were two customers at the pharmacy counter without masks. When I brought that to the manager's attention,(Gary Deleon), he said he would handle it. However, he did not. He even passed those customers on the way to talk to me, and never said a word to them. They remained at the counter. And the manager still didn't say anything to them and walked away. Why have signs on the entrance indicating the requirement for masks when it is not enforced? It is putting everyone else at risk, especially those customers at high risk. And if this store was one which administers the COVID vaccine, then heaven help us. If you want to be safe during this pandemic, then NEVER go into this store.

If staff doesn't sanitize between customers and a bandana is not a protective mask. Not all employees wear gloves. No sanitizer upon entry just a big bottle at the register, which staff isn't using. Nicest person in the store was training. This Walgreens is pricey and not worth the trip.
