What’s the point of having a phone number if no one is gonna answer a simple question? I called to ask if they offer blood pressure measurements and was put on hold 3 times for over 30 min, talked to 3 people who all told me they will get back to me with no response. By the time I actually got to the pharmacy the nurse has gone home for the day. Horrible customer service.

They don’t answer the phone which is annoying. I arrived to pickup medication and they told me to come back in 2 hours.

Stay far far away from this business. It's been 3 months and I have no been able to get my prescription due to "shortage" a new pharmacist I talked to there mentioned that if they get the medication it goes to their priority members first.

EVELYN, Pharmacy Manager, KIT Pharmacist and JAMES (Pharmacy Tech), VICTORIA (Pharmacy Tech) are the only staff you should speak to from this WALGREENS PHARMACY on 7TH STREET in DTLA. These individuals are PROFESSIONAL, POLITE, HONEST, RESPECTFUL, KNOWLEDGABLE and EXTREMELY HELPFUL.BACKGROUND STORY: On 5/5 I spoke to JAMES and KIT to request updates with my prescription. As per KIT, I have refills until May-June 2023. As per JAMES, my manufacturer's coupon will expire making me responsible for a $250 out of pocket co-pay every 2 months. I asked for assistance on how to lower my co-pay. JAMES gave me the manufacturer's number to request and re-instate the coupon to help lower my co-pay. KIT instructed me to provide them the coupon number once approved. I THANKED them both for their patience and guidance. On 5/6, I called Walgreens and was directed to the most ARROGANT, DISMISSIVE, DISCOURTEOUS, UNACCOMMODATING, UNCOOPERATIVE, UNPLEASANT and MISERABLE PHARMACIST I have ever encountered. Her name is '"SARDI". I explained to her my previous conversation with JAMES and KIT and is calling to provide Walgreens the newly re-instated manufacturer's coupon. Her tone was CONDESCENDING and said, "You don't have refills. This 'Pharmacist' LIED!I know for a fact the prescription is good until JUNE 2023. I offered to provide her with the coupon to help with my co-pay. She dismissed my request and said, 'You don't have refills.'. Throughout the exchange she kept cutting me off and insisted 'You don't have a refill.". SARDI did not listen to my plea to update the coupon to lower my co-pay once I get new refills from my PCP. I tried to explain again and she cut me off. I asked her to NOT 'cut me off' and 'let me speak'. She hung up while I was mid-sentence. I called back and was placed on hold for over 5 minutes. She eventually picked up, this time she humbled herself by changing her tone. She also miraculously FOUND the prescription. AFTER claiming I had NO REFILLS. In addition, she faxed the refill request to my PCP and SCHEDULED a PICK-UP for MONDAY; 05/08. MORAL of my story is...LINE YOUR DUCKS and KNOW YOUR STORY and RIGHTS as PATIENTS. WE PAY for their BILLS and LIVELIHOOD. DO NOT LET THEM INTIMIDATE or BULLY YOU. ADVOCATE for YOURSELF and HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE TO DO THEIR JOB! WALGREENS CORPORATE EXECUTIVES PUT THIS PHARMACIST on YOUR RADAR. SHE IS CREATING A NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE FOR PATIENTS and a BAD LOOK for WALGREENS. This encounter will not be dismissed as I plan to discuss this NEGATIVE telephone encounter with EVELYN, PHARMACY MANAGER. My goal is to ensure SARDI's behavior will NOT be a hindrance for other patients and customers to receive better and quality care.

Mostly speaking of my experience with the pharmacy department, this location is closest to me but terrible and I will never send another rX there. Whenever I order a prescription for pickup, I get there and there's only one person working and the line is out of control. Every single time. If a prescription is cancelled, your refill count still goes down. I have to call them every time. I just called and spent 35 minutes on hold...someone picked up and hung up the phone. I called back and was disconnected immediately as I got through the prompts. I had to call and ask for a store manager to reach someone in the pharmacy, who did not understand my request to refill a maintenance medication. I can't waste time dealing with them anymore when other pharmacies have NO problem getting their jobs done. There is no such thing as customer service at this place either. They never provide updates or clarify authorization problems either. Go elsewhere.

Terrible. They refused to deposit cash into myCash app. They said the hundreds were fake and handed them back to me like it wasn't serious. Lmao. I ended up going to the 7/11 and they were able to help with cash app transaction. Avoid this store. They're liars.

I ordered my first sane day delivery and learned after it was placed that the main item I needed was no longer available. I was amazed to find Blanca by phone at the store and she helped me get the order updated and it was delivered early! Great customer service!

This place is the EPITOME of yuck ! Go TO CVS I'm urging you. When you first walk in the store looks picked over and smells of urine. The pharmacy line only had 3 people in it and it took the cashier James about 40 minutes to properly help us three in total he has no clue on what's going on. When I got to the register to pickup my prescription I asked for the price and showed a coupon code he replied he couldn't offer it bc the numbers wouldn't upload in the system, I showed him a clause on the GoodRX website where it shows they have an alliance with Walgreens and assured him that I could get the prescription for a lower price and he argued me he couldn't. Since I've been a customer of Walgreens for years I'm very familiar with their price matching system, I once again assured him he could get me a lower price, no response. I asked would it be easier to trAnsfer the prescription to a different pharmacy he slid me a card with the shift managers number who by the way was not on shift today and said they can call the number to get it transferred. I asked was that specific shift manager was there he replied no. At this point I'm confused and his customer service was absolutely the WORSE. James and I bantered again back and forth over the price and finally he claims he was able to get the cost down to a lower price. He wasted so much time, with now a packed line of people and only himself to check customers out not to mention he made a fool of himself by denying me the lower price for the prescription when he could have applied the discount when first asked, the banter lasted for about 20 minutes bc I was certain about price adjustments, this type of horrible customer service will have my patronizing CVS from now on. The back counter of the pharmacy was off putting prescriptions all over the place and no real order to anything behind the counter. This Walgreens is a filthy, gross mess and James is a horrible representation of what their employees stand for.

James is the worst customer care rep. He told me my tablets will be ready in 10-15 minutes. Then he start talking on the phone for 10 min, and turned back said do you want to wait ? It will be ready in 20-30 minutes. What a joke? Supervisor need to see this.

I WITHDRAW REVIEW I WROTE ON 9/18.. EVELYN was dishonest, neglectful. i didn't know until 9/19 Medical RX pharmacy director called me to confirm whether i picked up all 3month right away. I thought it was her idea to refresh the system because she didn't mention the fact that Medical RX approved on 9/11. I thanked her so many times.. She delayed 1 week without informing the Approval. She only gave 1 month saying"cost-high" , which i didn't understand what she meant. Cost is something she didn't have to worry. Horrible.. at this point i don't want to give 1star. I already filed an official complaint against her on CA State Department of Pharmacy/Walgreen Corporation. Horrible lady!! pls delete 9/18 review.
