Try to make an appointment with Walgreen's AI dolly. Reception very poor. Dolly CAN slow down, but is still mushy. Making an online appointment online also has complications. Fie on the Corporation!

Pharmacist needs some customer service training- Maybe its not what they learn in Pharm School, but for heaven’s sake- you can have some basic bedside manners. Glad Im not using this as my main Pharmacy on file. Only needed it for meds I got prescribed fr Urgent Care.

I've been a Walgreen's customer for years, so when I moved to the area I transferred my prescriptions here. I’ve used this pharmacy for a few months now with no issues… until last month.
I take 2 medications. My doctor writes a prescription for a 3 month supply of each. They're supposed to be auto-refill and I get a text every month telling me to pick-up. Last month I got a text for one of the meds, but that my other had no refills. I thought that was strange since my Dr. writes them at the same time. So I called the pharmacy. After being on hold for a very long time, an annoyed woman answered. She told I had no refills for that one medication and would have to contact my doctor. So I spend time and money making another Dr. appointment. My Dr. tells me that she writes both prescriptions for a 3 month supply and I should have 2 more refills left. She said the pharmacy can call her if I still have issues. So, being assured by my Dr. that I do have refills, I decide to use the Walgreen’s website rather than deal with a rude employee on the phone. I was surprised to find that the website shows I have 5 refills… going all the way back to December! The website was glitching on me (maybe the browser I was using) so I go into the store.
The woman at the counter waited a while before acknowledging me. She seemed civil at first, but she doesn’t like to look you directly in the eye. She was short with long dark hair and glasses. Pretty sure she’s the same person I spoke with on the phone. I explain the situation, and that the website shows I have refills. She took her sweet time typing on the keyboard. She asks me if I’d like to pick up my other medication too and I say yes. More typing, no eye contact. No expression. She finally tells me that she sees the refills but that I can’t get it for 3 more days. I have to wait until the 15th because the last prescription was filled on the 15th of the previous month. And yet I can pick the other medication up right now. That makes no sense, as they were written and dispensed at the same time. I’ve never had a pharmacy make me wait until an exact day to pick up a medication, even at this location. I was confused, but decided to just wait the 3 days and pick them up at the same time.
That didn’t sit right with me, so when I got home I checked the website. I saw that indeed the prescriptions were always filled at the same time, and that I was always able to pick them up towards the end of the month, never having to wait for the exact day. And when I looked at the medication in my refill history, I was shocked to see that the woman had put a hold on it in the system! It was flagged in red saying “pharmacist approval required,” on hold, etc. I couldn’t believe it. She had actually gone in, when she was standing in front of me clacking on her keyboard, and placed a freeze on that medication so I’d have to wait 3 days to pick it up. I have no idea why she would do that.
So after that I decided to go back to my old pharmacy, even if it means a further drive. I transferred those prescriptions to my old Walgreen's and they were able to fill them the very next day! No waiting until the 15th. Sadly just today another doctor of mine sent a new prescription to this awful store. I called my old pharmacy to transfer it from the Eagle Rock location, where it had already been filled. My old Walgreen’s says they don’t see it in the system and the Eagle Rock location would have to call them. So, hopefully for the last time in my life, I call this 1-star Walgreen’s and relay the message. The woman, this same power-tripping, petty woman literally raises her voice at me to tell me my old location is wrong, and says “We do not make phone calls!” I try to explain to her what they said and she interrupts me, raises her voice more and repeats, “We do not make phone calls!” I just hung up. There's no point. I think she gets off on withholding. I got it sorted it out with the other location finally, and I will never be

I live nearby and shop at this Walgreens from time to time. Recently I spent 3 hours at an emergency room and needed to stop by the pharmacy on my way home to pick up a prescription. This was the first time I attempted to use my bare minimum drug plan and, lo and behold, it didn't cover the cost of this particular pain relief gel. The pharmacist who helped me, Sosi, relayed the three options available. One was to pay full price, and one was to go to CVS (which probably would have covered most of the cost). The last option was for Sosi to find a coupon that would cover part of the cost, which is what she ended up doing. I saved about 75% thanks to her tenacity and patience. Obviously she was sensitive to the fact that I had come directly from an emergency room and was in pain. I'm grateful to her for going the extra mile to help me out.

I bring up a sale item to the cashier... it rings up full price... I tell the cashier this item is on sale.... he's this fat lazy guy with no name tag ... " uuummmmm I'm not sure " ... so then I say "you're not sure and you don't want to go check"... "uuummm I guess so".... I tell him just to remove it. What a lazy piece of garbage.

What is Walgreens return policy? Why it is not shown in the store and behind the cashierWhy it is only printed on the back of the receipt in very small printWhy the customer is not informed that Walgreens require a photo I’d for returnsI purchased an item for $44 cash and when I tried it at home, it has some issues.I returned it back to the store and they insisted on scanning and storing my IDI asked what kind of information you keep he said ID number name DOB and address.I do not want my information in your system. You can see my Id but not saving itbecause I don’t trust you

It's a small store. It has its own parking lot, but it's a bit cramped. But it has Great customer service! They are always attentive, helpful, professional & courteous. I've been using online ordering with "curbside" pickup. The staff is always accommodating & pleasant when there's an error with my order or a substitution that's not acceptable.
