I drive over to this Walgreens from West Hollywood because it is small and I like the pharmacy. Yes, it sometimes some challenges but over all for the past 10 years, I have never had any complaints. I have three CVS stores near me, but I will still go to this one. The store itself is not the best with limited things. The staff at check-out is always very pleasant. Everything is locked us because they have been robbed many times. Again, I like it because it is small.

They close at 11 pm and I got there at like 10:54 to get some toothpaste, toiletries and water and soda for my hotel. I wish I remembered the cashier’s name but she was friendly and wished me a good vacation. Good selection and reasonably priced if you need some last-minute hotel stuff.
(TSA chucked my tube of toothpaste in Atlanta.)

Sometimes stuff isn’t friendly at all. After getting my medication today for my diabetes that is very important to me, I found out that they are not going to provide me with it for 3 months as I was getting it for the last year. Now I have to pay 3 times for it. Not customer friendly situation and very upsetting too. They even recommended to go to other pharmacy to refill my prescription.

This was the most unprofessional pharmacy I’ve ever used. It has taken me weeks of back and forth trying to get medication. Each day was a new pharmacist with a new reason why they wouldn’t accept my prescription. They don’t call to let you know they won’t fill a prescription and if you try getting them on the phone, you have to wait (once over 45 minutes) and multiple times they just hung up on me. When I called my doctor for the 3rd or 4th time, they notified me they’d also attempted calls and couldn’t get an answer and were also hung up on several times. Health is too serious a thing to put it their hands so if you value it avoid using them at all costs. I called campus pharmacy right after Walgreens and they filled my prescription within an hour.

Needed to get in touch with the pharmacy to confirm they have the medication I need before transferring from a different Walgreens to this one. The phone was picked up multiple times only to have the hold reset without a word said by whoever was on the other end. This is unacceptable, people need their medication.

Had the WORST experience with this pharmacy. Needed asthma medication. Had my current doctor call in a prescription because my previous provider no longer got the facility I was previously going to. Tried calling Walgreens to confirm everything was ok, because this is a new prescription and I really need it. Walgreens pharmacy staff kept me on hold for 3 HOURS. Picking up the phone and placing me back on hold when it began to ring. They finally picked up the phone at 5:15. Of course there are issues with the prescription quantity and of course the doctor’s office closed at 5. Staff apologies and says that there’s no reason/excuse for not answering the phone. However, the pharmacist, Tomomi gets on the phone and is completely unhelpful and unwilling to even accept accountability. She was rude, dismissive and kept speaking over me. It’s pretty disgusting to me that a pharmacy would keep someone who clearly needed help on hold for that insane amount of time. It’s pretty clear that someone would only spend that much time holding if they really needed assistance. There was even a point that someone picked up the phone, asked how I could be helped then placed me back on the endless hold. This location is such a disappointment.
