Wasteland on Melrose is for sure one of my go-to spots for great deals on designer pieces! The one thing I always have trouble with designer thrift stores is the men's selection, if there is one! But wasteland has a MASSIVE selection of designer menswear, and every time I go it's usually all new pieces, which makes the thrill of the hunt even more exciting! The staff has always been wonderful while I'm there, they are happy to take any shoes or handbags out of the cases for me. I've been coming here for years and will continue to come! I've found AMAZING deals on Bottega Veneta, Versace, Balenciaga, JPG, Rick Owens ready to wear and it's always priced better than anywhere online. Always happy to go back!

I absolutely loved Wasteland! The negative reviews are from people thinking this is a thrift store...and it is absolutely not a thrift store (nor do they claim to be one?). It's a highly curated vintage and gently used designer clothing store. And I genuinely thought the items were extremely reasonable. I saw 90s JNCOs for $78...they're upwards of $500 on Depop. Also, Julius (who was the dressing room attendant) is an absolute delight and made my trip into the store! He is obviously very knowledgeable in fashion and just super personable.I highly recommend checking them out!

Interesting, designer clothing. Very much the mood of the area; not a lot of my taste but fantastic people work here. It's worth the trip. Also, super cute tiny earrings near the front.

Their prices are absurd, and many of the clothes they sell are damaged. Just buy new things at this point.

Selections get more and more expensive everytime I come here, sad to see. I thought this was a thrift???

Yes some pieces are a bit overpriced but then again they just charging what the market will bear ?♀️Regardless i always find a couple things that i love which are well priced. And I'd rather pay for a unique item that was better made in the 90's than some cheap fast fashion that will not last.

Wasteland is a nice store. It is very tidy. There are two entrances, one for customers selling their previously loved attire, and the other for shoppers looking for a new look. ?????

This used to be my favorite vintage/ consignment shop in L.A. My most recent experience was poor, at best. The staff is unfriendly, dismissive and curt. I will go to Sixth Street only from now on.

This place used to be ok several years ago. Now, it's a wasteland of time selling there. The buyers either pass on everything, including things like John Elliot Sweatpants, Kenzo jacket, REFORMATION denim, vintage Levi's etc, but then offered to bring in one pair of dickies for $18 and pay me $5. After witnessing workers and managers get fired for stealing, I'm surprised this store is still operating the same way. One manager used to buy high-end stuff from customers at a really low price, then buy it himself and list them on Grailed etc. Sometimes they even change the price and raise it after they payout the seller at a lower price. Just horrible experiences back to back. They won't see me again.

A nice looking store with a wide selection. But for the price of the items, you can buy new. Very overpriced for second hand. Not worth it.

Whoa. This is the most epic of used clothes stores ever!!! The variety of high end and vintage articles is off the hook. Very interesting selection, not just clothing for the sake of the label, but because it's eye catching. Good job buyers, keeping it all interesting, even if some of it is on the pricey side. It's s a very fun dig. Great vibe too.
