This is one of the worst Walgreens I've been to. Rude employees. The store must be understaffed because the lines are soooo long ALWAYS. There's never enough registers open. Their Pharmacy is even worse! I've witnessed their rude employees treat customers poorly time after time. I was calling to check on my prescription and some lady hung up on me in the middle of a sentence. I'm always nice because you get more bees with honey (and they have my meds!) but it does not seem to make a difference to anyone who works there. I witnessed a man trying to get medicine for his sick son. He was so frustrated because the pharmacy didn't have the meds even though he called and someone there said they did. He has been running around all day trying to get meds for his son. They treated him so rudely. No compassion whatsoever. Medicine is serious. There needs to be a complete change in how they treat their customers who are there to maintain their health.

Why is the line always so incredibly long here? It's like I spend 15 minutes waiting in line just to buy paper towels. I would say I'll just shop at CVS down the street but I think I'd probably get robbed at the CVS on sunset. Why is it so hard for Echo Park to have a pharmacy that doesn't lock up their frozen burritos or one that you won't get murdered at? Seriously, is anyone else perplexed by this Walgreen's new freezers with cameras, speakers, and locks? I mean, am I in jail? What is seriously going on here?

Worst pharmacy ever. They lost my prescription twice. And it took half the day to find it. They Gave me someone else's prescription once. Most everyone is rude and the wait time is horrendous. Zero for customer service

Showed up early for my flu vaccine appointment. No one else was in line, but I still had to wait 30 minutes. For what? No idea but I recommend you go anywhere else for better service.

Victor, the pharmacist, is consistently one of the rudest people i've had to interact with. every time i leave this pharmacy i'm physically shaking with anger because not only do they never have things done in a timely fashion, they're also condescending and refuse to take accountability for mistakes made on their behalf. they regularly close the pharmacy with no notice during random parts of the day, and then tell you to have your prescriptions called into another walgreens if you don't like it. As someone who worked in retail and managed a convenient store for years, this is unacceptable and would never fly in any other reputable establishment.

This is legitimately the worst pharmacy I've been dealt with. The rest of the store is fine, if a little worn-in. But wow - the wait times; the rudeness of employees; the lack of accountability for medications. It's wild. I've been coming here on and off for years because it's convenient, but I think think might be the last time.

BRUH This place is horrendous vibes idk what's going on with the pharmacy line. Every time I need to pick up a prescription I'm there for at least 30 mins. Everyone in the line ends up being (rightfully) annoyed and the whole store quickly becomes a place where fun goes to die. But seriously you might die too if you need to get meds fast!!

The service at this pharmacy is the worst I have ever experienced. They are extremely rude and dismissive to their customers. I walked in today and stood in line for no less than fifteen minutes before being rudely told that they were closing for lunch and to come back at 2:30 after lunch. There was no one behind me in line, and they were completely unwilling to make any kind of exception. Nobody at any point thought it sensible to tell me during the fifteen minutes I wasted standing in line that they were preparing to go to Lunch and would be closing, so I just found it very unprofessional and disrespectful to my time, especially considering my prescription was waiting for me and would only take literally one minute to transact. There was another young lady who was also patiently waiting before me and got the same bad service, essentially told to go away. This was made even worse because she was kind enough to allow an elderly woman to go ahead of her for medication to help her breathe, which she was having great trouble with doing. She had tears in her eyes and was wheezing, so the young lady kindly let her ahead in line. For that good deed, she was "rewarded" with being told to F off when she got to the window by a very rude and unpleasant woman at the window. Seriously; just take your business to another place that doesn't treat their customers with bristling contempt. Update: it's gets even better. After returning post lunch, I had to wait in line for thirty minutes with twenty people ahead of me, only to be told once I got to the window that my refill was not ready (after being told it was available to pick up) and that I had to wait another fifteen minutes for it. This is after the guy at the window took six minutes to actually find my file, figure out what was going on, and yeah.... Just terrible, incompetent, slow, rude service.

This review is for the Walgreens pharmacy at 1625 Sunset, Echo Park. I think the rest of the store (besides the pharmacy) may be okay but dealing with the pharmacy is so unpleasant that I never buy anything in the rest of the store. I think they must give the pharmacist and their associates a personality test and they only hire the ones that are borderline psychotic and hate people. I never seem to get a pleasant person on the phone or in person. They are rude and seem to take pleasure in helping as little as possible. I don't know how they stay in business. I have tried to work with them for two years now and I can't take it anymore. I am going to transfer my prescriptions to another pharmacy (not a Walgreen). They have been so unpleasant that I don't even want to try another Walgreen pharmacy. I think I will try CVS. I used CVS for years when I lived at my old house so even though the nearest CVS is twice as far away at Walgreens, it will be worth the drive to get rid of the frustration. Do yourself a favor and avoid the Echo Park Walgreens like it was a rabid dog.

This is specifically for rudy at the pharmacy who wouldnt honor vaccine appointments at the time of appointment even though appointments were made. There were other people working who couldve done the vaccine but instead they stacked everyone with people who didnt have appointments.

Horrible lines, or should I say line, for the pharmacy and horrible customer service! Only one line for drop off, pick up, vaccinations. The pharmacy took over a week to fill my prescriptions. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs... Your life may depend on it, literally.

Always takes 30 minutes to an hour and a half for them to get through a regular line of 10 people. Absolutely insane wait times. Don't come here for prescriptions unless you have at least an hour to spare.

The pharmacy is THE WORST! I'm here at least 3x a month to pick up prescriptions and the wait time is ridiculous! Always at least 15 min. Taking my biz to CVS.

Hours say it opens at 8am but I just went by at 10am and was told to "give them 15-30 minutes" before they would open. Okay? They also gave me the wrong medicine in my prescription and then I immediately went back they acted like I was lying to get more meds. They ended up finding my meds and apologizing.
