Yogazan, formerly known as "yogaraj," is a welcoming and grounded yoga studio that specializes in a mindful style of vinyasa (flow) yoga. With a focus on breath as the practice, the studio offers a balanced approach, challenging students physically while also encouraging mindful reflection. The studio is known for its experienced and kind teachers, who contribute to the welcoming atmosphere. Offering affordable single classes ($22) and similarly affordable memberships, Yogazan makes it easy for students to commit to their practice. Praised by long-time students for its lack of pretense and space for everyone, Yogazan has built a loyal following over the years. The studio's move to a new location during the pandemic has only strengthened its offerings, with students continuing to find the peace and enrichment they seek in their yoga practice. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced practitioner, Yogazan is highly recommended for its supportive and nurturing environment, as well as its high-quality instruction. With a focus on community and a commitment to accessible yoga, Yogazan is a true gem in the Los Angeles yoga scene.
Jay and Phyllis both are great. Love the flexibility (no pun intended) in offering options within each pose for beginners or more advanced.

I’ve been taking classes from Yogazan (previously Yogaraj) for over 5 years, and would highly recommend them to anyone - from beginners to experienced yoga practitioners. All teachers are kind, compassionate and knowledgeable, including the owner/founder!

I started going to yogazan in December of 2023 and I’ve been hooked ever since.I love the Saturday 10:30 am 90-min class, their app is easy to use, and there is always parking.Highly recommend if a more traditional yoga/community vibe is your work out.
