Nice lady running the place, but a sorry and terrible excuse of a Bahn Mi sandwich. The bread was good, but everything else inside was done poorly or not at all. First off, it was just deli ham. the vegetables were not pickled, important stuff was missing. there was NO PATE, no cilantro, new kewpie, and no flavor. Plus the sandwich was mostly empty on top of it all.We all know what goes in these sandwiches. I was sorely disappointed and cannot recommend this sandwich, and based on this experience, I would be extremely hesitant to try anything else. Oh well.

Incredible little sandwich shop in the middle of Chinatown. If you're looking for an authentic sandwich, this little spot is the one.

Tucked away in the jewelry mart, looked up this spot bc Saigon which is front facing wasn't open yet and was craving a banh mi. It's cash only. The little old woman running it was very sweet and while it took a little longer, I was surprised at the size of it. For under $5 too! She gave a healthy portion of pate and the flavors were delicious. Worth the wait!

Iced coffee, daily special spring rolls, and noodle soup all delicious! My friend got iced coffee, a sandwich and noodle soup and also very happy with her order. Fast, friendly, and glad to support local businesses. Take out only right now but there are plenty of benches in the plaza to eat there. Will return!

One of the best mom-and-pop Banh mi spot in Chinatown! The little shop is hidden at the end of a jewelry plaza and literally a hole-in-the-wall kind of place. This little old lady runs the entire shop by herself during Covid. She take every precaution to ensuring that the food is prepared in an enclosed environment and uncontaminated. The shop is only for take-outs and order is taken right outside the door behind a clear shield. I believe it is cash only but make sure to ask if she accepts cards before ordering. FYI because she's managing the shop all on her own, it will take 15 minutes or more for her to prepare large orders. Please be patience and kind. I ordered 2 pork pate Banh mi, 1 chicken Banh mi, and 2 cafe sua da (Vietnamese ice coffee). You can taste how fresh the Banh mi bread is when you bite into it. It's medium crispy but soft. You can still taste the texture when eaten more than 4 hours later. The Banh mi reminded me of people selling Banh mi at a stand on the side of the road in Vietnam. The cafe sua da is no Lee's sandwich but it's still really good! Not too sweet and not too bitter. Just right. Highly recommend!
