This team is the slowest I've ever experienced. I stood behind a ten minute return and then stood for an additional 6 while they returned my items. Why do they hang and tag every single item one by one? Also, they have 6 registers but never more than 2 people ringing at a time - it's infuriating. They have no sense of urgency and do not respect the customer's time at all.

Racial profiling from Gio, the manager. During checkout, I discovered some pants that I wanted to try matching with one of the two shirts I was purchasing. I asked to put it on hold so I can run over and see but the associate asked if I could just pay and then try it on with the pants. He said he'd hold my bag with the other shirt and receipt while I did so. After seeing it wasn't a good fit I went back to the register to claim my second shirt, bag and receipt. That's when the associate realized he accidentally gave my purchase to another customer. After waiting 20 mins to figure out my options, he asked me to go get a replacement shirt of the one I was missing and he'd give that to me. He tired but I still asked for my proof of purchase. For whatever reason he couldn't figure out how to reprint the receipt. Moments later Gio (Giovanni - not sure of the spelling), the manager approached. Briefly spoke with his worker then came over to me in an incredibly rude manner telling me if I don't have my receipt there's nothing he can do. I tried explaining that's not what was going on. He continued to cut me off telling me if I have any issues, I have to call customer service. But how was I to do so with no reference to my items purchased? I also did not want to leave the store without the other $70 shirt I paid for. I asked to cancel it all and get a refund but he refused to do so. He proceeded to treat me like I was some criminal trying to run game on him. I was blown away by how I was being treated so everyone that knows me knows that I spend THOUSANDS at Zara. I even asked for him to check the cameras to see what happened and to prove my innocence and yet again, he declined saying he was not obligated to do anything. I gathered that Gio was a horrible manager who didn't even try understanding myself or his employee. Even that same cashier that made the mistake pulled me aside to explain his boss is very mean and does not know how to handle situations. Oh, I only know his name because I asked another employee after he refused to give it to me "... per California law" which is complete BS. Later another manager walked up trying to help Gio when I explained that I was frustrated for waiting almost an hour trying to get a solution. Gio, yet again, cut me off and said he's only been here for 20 mins. I then proceeded to show him my bank statement showing I had been standing there for 43 mins since I paid which again, is almost an hour. He then saw the shirt I was told to grab to replace it and proceeded to argue with his staff saying where was I going with that shirt. Reiterating the racial profiling towards me, treating me like a thug who was trying to steal. Overall this was the worst experience I've ever encountered in a store but as a black man, I am not surprised. No matter how well put together I am, the car I drive or how much money I make, I can still be treated poorly. Gio is nowhere near fit to be in any type of leadership role. He refused to listen or even help offer a solution. All he did was argue, asking me to leave and call customer service myself to figure it out. This happened 12/13 and I am still without answers. This is unacceptable and I am demanding an apology and further investigation. I also need to submit a formal complaint against Gio for his actions.

The worst customer service at Zara I’ve ever experienced.Me and my husband happened to do returns at this place at the same time.When I purchased the clothes their changing rooms were not open. I specifically asked if it’s ok to return the clothes if they won’t fit me. I’ve been told that it won’t be an issue at all.When I got there to return the clothes the lady that dealt with me was super unkind from the moment I got there. Didn’t say a word to me at all. Processed the refund and threw the receipt at me with no words where I had to ask if that’s all as I never returned anything before. She said yes you can go. The moment I left she started trashing me and talking bad about me to her coworker. , accusing that I bought the outfit to just wear it out for one night and returned it. How do I know all of this? She didn’t realise that her coworker was helping to my husband at the time with returns.Lady was very short, brown hair had her hair in a ponytail, white tshirt. Looking very unhappy with her life and her job. The worst representation for the huge company as Zara is. Never seen customers service like this in my life!Unfortunately I do not remember her name.

The girl at the cash register, with really bad lip fillers, appears to have an inferiority complex. There is no other explanation for her being rude for no reason.

Just dealt v with Tanaya at Zara beverly center womens dept and she was unbelievably rude. I was waiting in line and as soon as she was done ringing someone up, she's like i'll be back. i wait and wait and she doesn't come back so i follow her to the back and she when she finally comes out I say.. can you please help me i'm in a rush.. She says, you're in a store, you can wait. I said excuse me you shouldn't talk to a customer like that. I asked her what her name was and she put her hand in the air and said I ain't serving you and I don't need to tell you my name. then says "NEXT" She was beyond rude and needs to get fired for treating customers like this...

I am completely sensitive to worker shortages, however, I had 2 items to purchase, waited patiently for the only cashier to finish up a return, there was one other guy in the return line with 4 bags of clothes for return and the cashier calls him up and tells me ‘he was here first) there are so many things wrong with that. First, I’m trying to GIVE money, that should always take precedence over a return. I asked if there was anyone who could ring me up and he said no. The volume of items he was taking in meant that no one will be able to purchase anything at Zara for a long time- not a smart move at all. I just don’t understand why he wouldn’t ring me up it would’ve taken 5 seconds but instead I left the store empty handed and irritated as I had already waited a significant length of time for him to finish the previous return. Completely wasted a chunk of my morning!

The most horrible staff ever ! Rude and arrogant without reasons for that !Black guy acts like he at least owner of this store ! His face was like I owe him something Wth?! I just wanna spend my money dude .He scares all costumers !!! Never get back to this location anymore !!Change staff ASAP!!!!

Terrible service, should not represent the Zara brand. All the sales associates here are so mean! When I went to return and i out my bag of return cloths on the register, the man said Rudely, the whole bag?? loudly. I won’t be returning to shop here. Service is everything

Nasty attitude from cashier she would not give me her name bad service long line wait only two registers opened manager also was nasty. Never never again I’m stepping foot in to this store. I don’t know how this store stays in business hopefully for not any longer.

Two horrible experiences here, both with the same associate.First time, I tried to try on a jacket and he said “you can’t try that on because I’ll have to clean it up after.” What?Second time, today, he said all the fitting rooms were closed and wouldn’t let me try on clothes even though the store was open another 50 minutes!! Yes, fifty! He claims it “comes from above” but I doubt the manager or district manager has a policy to close the fitting rooms, and therefore guarantee no sales, for the last almost-hour of operation. Like before, sounds like a lazy guy who doesn’t want to do his job.Will never come back here.

I don’t know where to begin with. I had THE MOST terrible experience at zara store ever . Based on reviews that I see here now I won’t come back there. I have to be waiting in returns line for a while along with other folks while 2 reps have been serving another line . After the lady from returns line asked the manager to assist and open up one more check up, she did ( like you don’t understand it without being asked for ).the rep had assisted the “buy” line and then my queue came up. I came up to the counter when I saw another customer again from the “buy” line . I told her that this is my turn now WHEN the rep started yelling over a counter that I had to wait since it was not my turn ( when it clearly was). Somehow she started assisting me while talking back to me as I was her boyfriend or girlfriend , not a customer. She started throwing my backs to the counter , acting super rude . When she stopped throwing my things all over the place she said I was all set . I asked where was my receipt . She rudely answered she did not give it to me . I told her she needed to fix her attitude when the manager intruded and asked me to leave her alone ! Seriously ????? Instead of backing the customer up while her employed was acting extremely rude , unprofessional and with hate she told me not to tell her that she was rude ! Terrible staff, terrible customer service . I was shocked . I am not feeling welcomed and safe. Any more at Beverly center zara store . Again ! Fox your attitude and please hire a wellEducated polite employees. I was super upset today. It happened today at 1:17 pm
