About Nelson Kennels and Volta Farms Training
Family run Dog Boarding and Training Since 1969! We accept intact dogs and all breeds are welcome! Short or long stays available. We operate 356 days per year. All services are by appointment- Please call or email with inquiries or to schedule. We offer Boarding & Training packages for Pointing Dog and Obedience Training for All Breeds. Individual Training Sessions (lessons) are available for Bird Dog Training and Handling, as well as Obedience. We have over 60 acres of fully fenced private training grounds with wild, feral, and planted Chukar, Quail, Pidgen, and Pheasant. We can train and campaign your dog in AKC Field Trials and Hunt Tests. Complementary tours are offered by appointment. Come see what we're about!

The team at Nelson Kennels is amazing. They treat Lola as one of their own family members when she stays and bird dog training to boot!I know this because she is always excited when she goes back and has learned some amazing hunting and obedience. I would not trust anyone else more with my dog.

I have my dog groom there I have a german shepherd and michelle grooms my dog. But it's a nice place it's very clean. The grounds are clean and i've seen a couple of dogs and they've looked happy.

Deanna is awesome. She worked a miracle with our Pitbull mix puppy. He is doing much netter now.
