Oak Meadow Park is a very large and versatile park that offers a wide range of activities and facilities for visitors of all ages. The park features free parking, though it can fill up quickly on busy days. All the facilities are well-maintained and clean. The park consists of two adjoining areas - Oakmeadows and Vasona. Oakmeadows offers wonderful things and activities for kids, including train rides. Vasona has a Youth Science Center and sometimes features eagle nesting. The park is particularly popular with families, as it boasts an excellent playground area for toddlers, with plenty of shade and natural surroundings. The park also features a variety of playgrounds and attractions, such as a train model, car model, and an airplane display. Visitors consistently praise the park's cleanliness, peacefulness, and great walking paths. The carousel and little train ride are especially beloved by the kids. December 2025: no more classic fire truck and mini train in the playground area; and the T-Bird jet trainer is now for display only. We were surprised and the kids were sad with the news. Hopefully the Town of Los Gatos will do the proper safety maintenance and bring back those always loved attractions!
