The women are very rude. They will put up a close sign if they don't want to help you and then once you get help they will reopen their station and help the person behind you.

I had an extremely frustrating experience at the USPS post office in Los Gatos, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment. Frankly, I hate, hate, hate this place, and I've never encountered a more unpleasant group of employees and managers. My visit to this post office was to send a return package back to Amazon. When I approached the counter, an elderly Asian woman, whose name I didn't catch, informed me that the cost for returning my package would be a staggering $57. I couldn't help but express my surprise with a few "Wow"s. It's essential to note that I did not use any offensive language or disrespect this lady in any way. I simply left the counter, disheartened by the unexpectedly high return cost. However, just as I was leaving the facility, I overheard the same lady loudly mimicking my "Wow, wow, wow" remarks and laughing at my expense. I couldn't believe it. I hadn't even left the establishment, and an employee was openly mocking me. I'm left wondering what kind of service this post office provides, and what kind of person finds it acceptable to treat customers this way. It's beyond outrageous! In light of my experience, I strongly believe that a serious reevaluation of the personnel at this post office is in order. Such behavior is unprofessional and completely unacceptable. I sincerely hope that steps will be taken to improve the customer service and overall experience at this USPS branch.

I’m convinced someone here is stealing social security cards that come in the mail. Three times the government sent us one — what are the odds they were all 3 lost before they got to LG post office?

The manager at this location believes that USPS does not use online tracking. I even showed her how and she still does not believe. We have had countless delivery problems. I will now have my packages delivered elsewhere. It's bad enough we can't receive our mail properly . But, every package has been a delivery nightmare this month. I sure hope they can replace this horrible manager and find someone that has a clue on what's going on.

This is the worst post office I have ever been to. I have encountered numerous issues with my international packages here. Allow me to share my most recent experience with this office. I was expecting an international package, and upon checking its status in the USPS tracking system, I discovered that it was scanned at the San Jose Main Distribution Center ten days ago and has since lost its tracking information. It appears to be stuck in transit.I visited the main center in San Jose to seek assistance. They informed me that my package was missing the street number, only displaying the street name, apartment number, and zip code. I suspect it was either scanned improperly or the number was torn off during handling. The manager, a seemingly pleasant lady, directed me to the Los Gatos post office since the package's destination zip code is 95030.Upon reaching the Los Gatos post office, I approached an employee for assistance. Despite her efforts, she couldn't locate my package. She took down my phone number and name, assuring me that she would contact me if the package turned up. On the second day of visiting, I encountered a similar situation—no package found. Another employee collected my contact information and promised to reach out if there were any developments. The package, weighing approximately 24 lbs and quite noticeable, remained elusive.Frustrated, I decided to return to the San Jose main office located on Lundy Avenue. The manager there made an additional attempt to assist me, organizing a search of their facility for every large package. I patiently waited for an hour, but unfortunately, the package was not located. The manager expressed her apologies and redirected me back to Los Gatos, assuring me that it should be there.During my third visit to the Los Gatos post office, I finally encountered the manager—a white American woman in her 50s with long blonde hair. She greeted me with a condescending look, instantly signaling that she would be of no help. Nevertheless, I shared my story with her, hoping for a different outcome. She checked her computer, providing me with the same information I was already aware of—no record of the package arriving in Los Gatos. When I asked if she could check their facility just in case, she flatly refused, although one of her employees had done so four days prior to assist me. It was disheartening that she didn't even offer this option. I inquired about the scenario where the package lacked a number, to which she dismissively replied that they couldn't do anything and it would be sent back. I couldn't help but express my confusion—standing right in front of her, discussing my problem, why couldn't she make an exception and assist in holding the package until I could pick it up? Her response was an unyielding "no," citing that I had only a couple of hours before it would be sent to the facility for delivery. This raises the question: why is she in a managerial position? Does she truly comprehend the responsibilities it entails? Doubtful. Observing the manager at the USPS San Jose facility who actively assisted me and other customers while her employees were occupied, it became evident that this lady in Los Gatos (whose name I regret not acquiring) displayed a complete lack of concern. It's clear she doesn't care about customers or her employees. The lines are consistently long, and I have never witnessed her working or offering any assistance. It is crucial to reconsider her position. Your workers are more knowledgeable and genuinely care about people, unlike her. She is, without a doubt, the worst! I have never encountered someone so apathetic and unwilling to offer any help. The service is abysmal. She must be terminated. The office suffers from poor management, contributing to its overall

Went to this post office 2 weeks after sending a certified piece of mail(signature required) that neither displayed tracking that was accurate nor received a signature. Have proof from other PO that it was lost. Heard from recipient that they received my letter. Still shows everywhere it's missing. BRANCH REFUSED TO GIVE ME A REFUND ON DUPLICATE THAT WAS SENT IN ERROR WITH 100% OF FAULT FALLING ON THE POST OFFICE. Upper management apologized profusely whereas local management didn't care at all! I'm coming back in a week or so to provide a letter from upper management stating I am 100% due a refund. Left phone number with this local manager who said she'd work on intercepting my package sent in error(again due to USPS errors) and she never phoned. Doing business here because WE HAVE TO, not because we want to. Try caring about the customer.
