They cut down beautiful Redwood trees. Incompetent management. Wiped out a whole 100+ year old Redwood grove: reason: "they weren't thriving". Boss of park at time of review, Ryan Lugo.

The paths around the lake are great. Watch out for Poison Oak if you are sensitive... stay on the paths and don't go anywhere the trail becomes a dirt or grassy marked trails cuz it will be there. Always plenty of parking if you go to the upper lots and walk down to the playground area yoi can see the whole lake.

Restrooms are clean.
Restrooms: Clean and flushable.

Quiet, picturesque walking paths around the park and lake. Lots of geese, ducks, squirrels and other local wildlife! Great place for a quiet walk alone, with a friend, or with your favorite pet. Yesterday my friend and I were walking with my dogs through the park, when we met a woman taking her rabbit for a stroll in a small baby carriage!

Rented 2 spaces for a company picnic. One covered the other open. Website said between 8 to 9 they would be cleaning the areas unless they were occupied.
Got there and saw duck feces all over the table tops and seats as well as spider webs covering several seats and under tables. Took several pictures and the young lady came to the site and handed us a broom to clean up.
Mind you the broom knocked down tge webs but did nothing to the feces on tables and benches. Ended up using disposable tablecloths to cover the poo.
News ranger lady apologized and said she would seek a discount for this issue. NOTHING EVER HAPPENED. still paid the over 1100.00 for the spots.
