I'm glad I went with TX Bar Grassfed Cattle Company. I didn't get the amount of take home beef as I thought I would(my mistake), but the second I saw the meat, the packaging, meeting the butchers when I picked up my order and seeing how great everything went from start to finish, there's nobody else I want to work with. I'll definitely be back after I eat all of this meat!

Worked with Travis of TX Bar and Los Molinos Meats. It was our first time going through a "cow purchase" process and Travis was extremely helpful and the whole process was easy and the meat is outstanding. Couldn't be happier. Once we work through it all, we will be back! Thanks for the wonderful experience! (We live in Sac, in case a Sac person is considering and that distance was easy pesy.)

First time buying half a beef. Travis was very informative and was always available to answer questions. Great overall experience. We will be placing a second order as soon as we start to run low on beef.

From the start I knew I chose the best in the business. Quick response and everything was lined out on from day one. Most fear grass fed and finished beef is extremely “gamey” not the case.My only complaint is I only ordered a Half Cow. I will be placing another order this time a full cow. As far as pricing goes good luck finding a better deal and best of all I know what I’m eating.Let’s not forget about the butcher (the finished product) I hope they keep this company for the next one. She was beyond helpful in my selection of meat cuts and explained everything in great detail. The pickup was a ease and everything was vacuum sealed ready to go not butcher paper wrapped.Easily one of the best experiences I’ve had. Thanks TX Bar Grassfed-Seth LaamRedding CA

Natural herbs have cured so many illness that drugs and injection cant cure. I've seen the great importance of natural herbs and the wonderful work they have done in people's lives. i read people's testimonies online on how they were cured of herpes, HIV, diabetics etc by Dr Oje Abacha herbal medicine, so i decided to contact the doctor because i know nature has the power to heal anything. I was diagnosed with HIV for the past 7 years but Dr Oje Abacha cured me with his herbs and i referred my aunt and her husband to him immediately because they were both suffering from herpes but to God be the glory, they were cured too .I know is hard to believe but am a living testimony. There is no harm trying herbs. He is also a spell caster, he cast spell to restore broken marriages and he cast good luck spells to prosper and excel in life. Contact Email:

This was my first experience buying beef off the hoof. I was so afraid I would mess it up. Fortunately I found TXBAR, their advertisement is fantastic, it explains so much. Even better than the advertisement, Travis. Travis went out of his way to make it easy as possible for me. He even offered to call if I preferred. That means a lot to some of us older ones. Everything went just as Travis said it would go. He kept me informed of every step.I thank the butcher for her patience. She was helpful in explaining the different types of cuts to me.When we inventoried and put our beef away, I noticed I didn’t have the Cross Cut Shanks. The reason I didn’t have them , I told the butcher I didn’t want them. EVEN SO, Travis told me that I was more than welcome to them. He told me he would make it worth the return trip. One of the youngsters loaded the box into my vehicle. I didn’t see what was in the box, until I returned home. Not only did he give me the C C Shanks, he gave me a BOX FULL of meat. He didn’t have to do that. Travis is a great guy. A honest man. A man of his word. It just keep getting better. The meat is DELICIOUS. I’ve told all my friends. Believe me you will tell all of yours, once you taste, this beef.Thank you Travis and your TX BAR grass fed beef

Thanks again for your hard work for another amazing animal!! Butcher said hanging weight was 775lbs!!! Massive lol. Woooo!! Food for a year+. And the crazy part is cuts like ribeye and filet mignon go for around $20-$40 per pound at regularly grocery store! Compared to TX around $8-9 a pound with the harvest !

Thank you very much! I picked it all up on Friday and the meat looks great. My wife's birthday was on Sunday and I whipped out the sous vide and made some fillet mignon -- the perfect meal for a special occasion.I bought an upright freezer (13.8 cubic feet) and it just fit the half beef. That was one big animal! I'm going to be doing some organizing soon so we can find everything.I'm looking forward to trying a bunch of cuts that I've never had before.

Hi Travis,As a new customer to the bulk meat buying process I was more than a little apprehensive spending this kind of money. But after working with you and A&R I can say that there’s no reason to buy beef any other way. The quality is amazing! Best beef flavor I’ve ever had. The expectations were set from the beginning and nothing fell short. The people at A&R were awesome and did an amazing job packaging and labeling my order. There is a learning curve with cook times and temps but I have some great tools to make that easier. I cooked the rib roast for NY Day and it came out perfect! The meat is more filling than store bought so it’s leftovers again tonight! Not complaining.I just want to thank you for living up to your promises and for making this one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Couldn't be more pleased with the quality of beef and great service from Travis!I've been exploring all sorts of beef from different farms up and down California, and more recently been fascinated by the difference in taste between supermarkets and specialty butchers.I stumbled upon TX Grassfed, which offered full/half beef at very reasonable prices. So I rounded up a few friends to do a group purchase, and took the leap of faith. It's hard to imagine spending thousands of dollars before taking the first bite, needless to say I was very pleased, and pleasantly surprised.Los Molinos Meats, the butcher shop, carefully cut and wrap the meat into vacuum sealed packages, 1 pound portions then loaded into smaller boxes for easy loading and transportation. The beef will stay fresh in the freezer for a year or longer but im sure will be finished way before then.In a world where distributors/supermarkets are blaming price increases on the supply chain while reporting record breaking profits is just crazy. Therefore being able to purchase direct from farms and supporting local business is a win win situation.
