They hold mail hostage. Customer service is terrible, and a scrap of handwritten paper that anyone can pick up is apparently more reliable to them than a photo ID.

Bertha Martinez lady at the front desk likes to harass people for no reason. If more Hispanics from the area knew about Google reviews there would be a lot more bad reviews with her name in them.

An extremely rude elderly woman works there. Every experience I've had with this place is disappointing. Avoid this place! Once their mail carrier broke my mailbox because she wedged a really big package into it! I watched her do it through my window of my house! She literally broke my entire mailbox off the post and drove away! She didn't even bother to come tell me! When I called to report this, I was told the supervisor was going to come out and greet me in a few. He never did! I waited over an hour next to the road for the supervisor to show up, even though the post office is about two minutes from my home. I called again to confirm he was coming, but they screen their calls down there and wouldn't answer me! So I had to take my mailbox down there in person, but they wouldn't see me til 5 mins past there lunch break and yelled at me because I tried to open the door and didn't realize it was locked for lunch. A huge lack of communication on there part! I finally did talk to the person in charge. He try to tell me that my mailbox wasn't on the post correctly and so it wasn't the mail carriers fault! Mind you, I took pictures of the mail carrier doing damage! It took some effort for her to shove my package inside my mailbox, instead of walking it to my door! I left the package inside and asked the front desk clerks to remove the package from the mailbox. They wouldn't humor me though. The supervisor gave me $20, which is half the price of a new mailbox of the same kind. Wow thanks guy! This was very unprofessional of them and a strange interaction period! I'm mad that they didn't take it upon themselves to fix my broken mailbox! Very frustrating interacting with these people. I used to have a PO Box down there but again... every experience with these people makes me want to run! The customer service is extremely poor and the atmosphere is very unwelcoming. I rather drive to Chico or Red Bluff for my postal service needs. Also, as a new business owner in town... I wanted to put up a flyer inside the post office, where everyone else puts their flyers up! There's literally several clipboards to hang your flyers on! I asked permission to hang my flyer and the rude lady told me I wasn't allowed to do so. I asked her why other people have hung their flyers up then and she said no one is allowed to hang up any flyers and its not her responsibility to remove them either! So odd! So I asked if mine would be taken down if I hung it up anyway and she couldn't answer that either. Very strange and rude of her if you ask me! Especially since people have always been allowed to post flyers there. A horrible way to support you local community. Fired in my book! They need new staff down there immediately.

While they deliver packages, every time I have missed a package they are SUPPOSED to leave a notice saying the package was unable to be picked up by the recipient. Unfortunately I have yet to receive this slip/ notice when I’m out and miss a pickup, causing me to reschedule for delivery for a week later. Why is this an issue? Because you can’t go and pick up the package yourself WITHOUT that notice. No notice, no package to be picked up at the mail center.Staff are nice but my god they can’t do a simple 10 second task for their life.

Since May, I have tried to get service. Not special service -- just basic service. I have yet to receive a single piece of mail. They mark it undeliverable and they send it all back. This post office branch needs to be shut down, revamped, something. It's horrible.

People used to come from out of town just to go to this quaint and quick little p.o. Now I go out of town to avoid it when I can. Things have changed and not for the better. Props to the poor carriers for having to pick up all my packages now!

Horrible service. Worst I’ve seen in my entire life. My husband had a package show as “available for pickup” so I went to pick it up, Bertha would not even look for it. Also had a package that required a signature, my mother in law had surgery this week and I work so there has not always been someone here so I tried picking that up as well. She just took down the tracking numbers and said she’d call if she found them and that’s the last I heard from her.

I moved here a year ago and love that a Post Office is one within a few blocks from me because I get a lot of packages and I send a ton of packages, as I am an online seller. This little Post Office is the best in mainly because of Bertha! She's outstanding! We've become buddies now come up because I'm always there and we chat and she's just so sweet and kind. They clean the Post Office all the time, you can smell the cleaning solution. And that's a good thing! They have a convenient sized parking lot and mailbox where you can drive up to it in addition to post box inside where you can put decent sized packages through for a when you don't need to go inside or when they are not open. Everything's always quick and friendly here.

Lately we have had horrible mail service. I have always received letters and packages that are not addressed to me or anyone in my household. I simply put them back in the mailbox to be picked up again by the mail ladies. But now, they leave my mail at other houses. This has caused us to "loss" 3 packages. My husband went to the post office and talked to them. And they simply told him there is nothing they can do about the lost packages. Packages that are supposed to be delivered on an exact date get to you a day or 2 later. I have thought of getting a pobox, but talking to a friend who has one, and she has the same issues. Is not worth paying extra money so they keep doing the same thing. I been living in los molinos for almost 12 years, it has always been bad service, but now is getting worse.
