“Had a really fun, information-packed wine tasting experience yesterday at the Los Olivos Tasting Room. As we walked along the sidewalk past other tasting rooms, we felt drawn to this one. It felt so authentic and inviting. So glad we stopped here. The featured Pinot Noir wines were presented in perfect order. Our host, Kathryn, was very knowledgeable and helpful. She guided our tasting experience perfectly. I recommend this place very enthusiastically!”

“This place was a wonderful experience. Outdoor seating that was comfortable , clean, and well maintained. They do a wine tasting where all the wines are paired with cupcakes and the pairings are surprisingly good. The person helping us was very kind and patient and explained wine to those of us that had no idea what we were doing when it came to wines ?”

“Classic Italian food. Absolutely delicious. My son is sort of a Italian connoisseur said it was the best Italian food he's ever had. Don't be fooled by the location, which is tucked in the back of a liquor store. It actually has a really cool vibe. Staff is wonderful, especially Gaby, Who is not only super friendly but helped us through the menu choices. We ended up ordering way too much and ate it all! Can't wait to go back”

“My new favorite coffee spot. Thank you ladies for the service. My VERY YUMMY HORCHATA STEAMER was out of this world. Please get banana syrup if/when it becomes possible.”

“A couple of great places. I went to the Dry Cleaners. There's also a taco place and an Italian restaurant ... across the street and an easy walk to another Mexican restaurant, the UPS Store and VIP Tobacco Shopp.”

“Had the most fantastic birthday at Alisal! Started with a great bbq the night before, then a hayride to a pancake breakfast in the gorgeous hills, canoeing on the lake, biking, swimming and a fantastic dinner. What a great experience! Thanks to everyone at Alisal Ranch for a memorable and wonderful time!”

“Picked up some snacks for our road trip. The chickpea puffs were pretty good! We also liked the chickpea chips with sea salt. But our favorite was the 85% cacao Theo chocolate bar! Trying to make some healthier choices and these were great! Nice store! Reminds me of a Sprouts or mini Whole Foods. The staff was friendly and helpful! Great place to come to and I think the only market in the area!”

“We love it! My daughter in law thinks it's adorable with friendly people, well stocked, clean, fresh produce and great meat department with plenty of selections! It's so nice to have this market close by to rely on! Oh ya, and there's a coffee/ juice bar, a sushi bar with freshly made sushi daily and a super deli with too many selections to mention. So go see for yourself and enjoy the experience!!”

“I'm only reviewing for the cheese, rather than the wine, and I'm happy to say that the cheese collection was excellent. I found several nice cheeses that I would've been very happy, getting and especially happy with the one I picked, which isn't all-time favorite, Old Amsterdam Extra Aged Gouda. The store is very nice inside, and the staff was very helpful and friendly .”

“Houston's Liquors is an old, standalone liquor store that you will just fall in love with! It's a thousand points on the awesomeness scale, but comfortable and well-worn too, like an old mattress. They sell all kinds of drinks and potato chips and you won't get any guff from the liquor store owner. Plus, it photographs well, at dawn or at dusk, from all angles. Lots of street parking available, right out in front, and there's even room for semis. Stay all day if you like!”

“I came here for the chicken pot pie and it didn't disappoint. That along with the Poutine and guacamole bacon burger were all delicious. It was a raining day and the restaurant is welcoming and cozy. The absolute best thing about the experience was the staff. Mikala was AMAZING. As the rain came down more, more people started to come in and all areas of the restaurant had people in them and she never missed a beat. She was alone in the front and there was the cook in the back and together they helped everyone in a timely manner. I was impressed by her calm demeanor and ability to attend to everyone and get the food out and refill drinks. bus tables and still smile the whole time. As busy as it was there was no pressure feeling or rush to leave. I will for sure visit again the next time we are in town.”

“Last Saturday evening my hubby and I stopped into this small business on a mission. Aunt Flo decided to visit on our weekend getaway so I was sore and exhausted and had to get stocked up on Midol Complete to survive the trip. Not to mention my makeup was beginning to irritate my eyes wearing it for so many hours, so I needed a quick solution to get it off ASAP. That's when plant based, Neutrogena Makeup Remover wipes came to the rescue! My hubby needed to find a solution to clean his glasses, poor thing couldn't see where he was going. They didn't carry it, so the sweet, thoughtful staff offered him Windex and he felt an immediate relief and could see clearly again! Now that's what he uses to clean them at home!! I would definitely recommend this liquor and mini mart that opened it's doors in 1993 in Downtown Solvang! They have nice classic Danish architecture on the exterior of the building and when you're in a pinch, it's great to have a place to purchase items you may have forgotten to pack on your trip! SYOY! :-)”
