Solminer Wine Company is a must every time in town, a must try in Los Olivos. The tasting room offers an incredible and enjoyable experience, described as second to none and by far the best. The staff and team are fantastic, incredible, attentive, kind, engaging, hospitable, and lighthearted. They are knowledgeable sommeliers who share their passion and explain the mission and wine making process with enthusiasm and in great detail, while lovingly telling stories. The wines are absolutely delightful, delicious, amazing, and natural, with Austrian wine and a favorite Riesling highlighted. The business is noted for its biodynamic and ethical growing practices aligned with the lunar cycle. The family-esque treatment and the stories of the animals at the vineyard create an experience that groups and visitors will remember forever, ensuring they feel in good hands and will certainly be returning.
A sincere shoutout to Ari who was a fantastic tasting room host. Truly kind and engaging while explaining Solminers mission with enthusiasm and in great detail. Our favorite was the Reisling. Love the stories of the animals at the vineyard.
