The USPS office in Los Olivos has been a consistently positive experience for me. The staff here are not only efficient but genuinely kind and welcoming. Frank, in particular, always goes above and beyond he’s incredibly helpful, patient, and has a great attitude that makes every visit easy and pleasant.
It’s rare these days to find a post office where things move this quickly without sacrificing good service. Whether I’m dropping off packages or asking questions about shipping, the whole team handles everything with professionalism and a smile.
Highly recommend this location if you’re in the area. Friendly staff, fast service, and people like Frank make all the difference!

This post office has the nicest, most helpful postal employees of any USPS I have ever been too. They always go the extra mile, are interested in how my day is going and genuinely are good people.

I begrudgingly go to this post office location because it is a two minute walk from my home. I just had my final bad experience 10 minutes ago. It being the slowest post office in the whole Santa Ynez Valley there were still two postal workers and the post master working. D Was helping some out of towners with their passports and summoned her lazy coworker to come help me with a QUESTION at the counter. You could hear her scoff before she even rounded the corner. Before even making it to the counter, you could just tell that she had zero want to help.I’m sure she is there picking up a fair paycheck to do just that. It was as if the words I was asking were sailing straight through her head, not hitting a thought, a brain, and definitely a care.I can’t believe this woman is skating by doing the bare minimum and with a piss poor attitude.I just ran into my neighbor, and they too have had negative experiences at the counter at the Los Olivos post office. What a shame. Working in a nice, quiet, small town you think would be a great perk to the job and you would be happy to be there.Long story short, I was not helped, simple question unanswered, received a terrible employee with poor customer service.If there is a way to have USPS check in on this location, that would serve our community well because it’s a 0 star from me and some that I know too.

Legitimately the nicest people ever work here. Came in a couple weeks ago for a passport appointment. The two employees working were so nice and helpful (a man and a woman, I don’t remember their names unfortunately). I even came 5 minutes late. I rarely write reviews, but they were some of the nicest people ever and made the appointment quick and enjoyable. Couldn’t recommend more!!

It is a nice little post office. The employees are friendly and efficient. Los Olivos does not have U. S. Mail home delivery so all Los Olivos residents are given a post office box. Unfortunately, the actual business office is only open M-F 10 am to 2 pm. Access to your post office box is 24 hrs.
