Thank you to the girl that was putting stuff out this morning. Uou went above and beyond when I asked if there was a possibility that my package was there. You could have told me I needed to wait. But instead you went and found my package and put it out for me to get. Thank you so much for being so kind.

This post office is really bad. They have several large parcel boxes in the front but would rather send your item's back than use them. They are all usually empty, I'm not sure what the purpose of them are then. They close super early. I commute to work and do not get off early enough to stop by and get my package. I informed them of that but yet they keep putting a yellow slip in my box. Why can't they use the large boxes in the front? I asked them and they didn't really have an answer. I also don't appreciate them closing my box because I didn't check my mail in a while. I don't know what the deal is but this is the worst post office I have ever been to.

Nice little rural post office, very helpful happy employees. No crowds or lines. Super helpful when I was having trouble getting mail after a move.

Was fine years ago under old management. New crew loses packages, misplaces slips/mail in wrong boxes CONSTANTLY, can't find anything that says it's delivered, and the ladies there have some of the worst attitudes even when kind to them. Entire place seems to run on hangovers and depression. Having to deal with tweakers is no excuse to give up on your job (which pays very well for the area). There are still business owners in town trying to do good and get absolutely held back by this place's incompetence and negativity.Advice to locals: get a PO Box anywhere besides here. They don't want you to come in anyways. Miserable trash.

USPS has told my family or house is rual and will not deliver to me. I live one house away from daily mail delivery with USPS. From all my house windows I can see our NEW Lucerne USPS mail Jeep drive by, back in forth delivering daily mail to all my neighbors. I'm on flat land that's easy to excess. Yet I'm forced by the USPS to have a PO Box in town. Then they close the PO Box Lobby at 7pm (promptly too, I've sadly learned from lack of security for inappropriate behavior). I work, and it's impossible sometimes to get to the PO Box before you Lock up the Lobby. Mail is essential! Good tax paying citizens, who actually try like hell to make stuff work suffer. Hopefully maybe in another 25 the USPS will find my house and deliver me my mail. Then again I may have it shipped to outer space in 25 years.

If I hadn't dealt with other branches of the USPS,I wouldn't know how incompetent this one this..and it truly is,with rude and clueless employees,who dont know what service means.

On January 3rd 2022 the person who was supposed to deliver my package never delivered it. He stole it and I want him to go to jail! I called the post office and the person who was supposed to deliver it claimed that it was a "mis-shipment"! WHAT? I ordered it on purpose, and Amazon sent it on purpose! Sheesh! My package left the Lucerne post office on Jan. 3rd at 12:07 pm and never made it to my door! I live 2 blocks away from post office! I am wanting some kind of compensation since it was a post office employee who stole from me! NOT happy!

I have been in Lucerne for 15 years. These folks have always been helpful- even in bad weather dealing with customer bad attitudes. They have been professional dealing with the public and I’ve seen them do something most of us don’t: after being bullied by a difficult customer- they recover quickly and treat the next customer with kindness .

Every working here is helpful and polite, and very patient, even in some trying situations that my husband Terry and I have witnessed. There have been times I've thought the workers here really should get hazard pay. We just moved here full time, and love being able to walk to this post office, which is a hub for the town of Lucerne.

Very rude employees. Incompetent service. I have never been treated so rudely when being polite. Need new and trained employees. Employees spend a lot of time outside smoking or talking.
