I have been coming here for many years well before they had range masters. I was there last week and had not been for a few months. The place is looking ragged, not well maintained. No roof cover over the shooting benches and summer is coming. They suggest you bring your own EZ up they should be providing some cover for their customers. Many of the benches have sun rot and there is heavily overgrown vegetation for the snakes to find shade.
The price to shoot all day is very reasonable but,$10.00 for a rickety target stand? The place needs some love. I don’t know how old theses recent review pictures are, but it does not look like that at all today. It’s in a great mountain location but it needs some serious attention.

My Son and I had a great time Memorial day weekend. It was not full, Great Range Masters, had a good father and Son day. Met a lot of great people. I will be back.

My favorite range! There are so many to pick from in So.Cal, but the friendly and knowledgeable people make this the best place to be. And not just the staff, the clientele make you feel you're out among friends, this is the place experienced shooters and handloaders go. Pistol, shotgun or rifle, they have the spot for you out to 300yrds !

Restored my .22 my Dad got me when I was 12. Had been sitting in a garage for close to 50 years. Wanted to see if it still worked and to get it sighted in if it did. Went to Lytle Creek Firing Line. It's at the end of the road so it's hard to miss. Like the directions say, you might think you're lost, but just keep going. It was 25.00 for the day, which is very reasonable. Most other ranges charge by the hour. Robert checked me in. He is super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. This was my first time there and he made the day 100% better than it already was. I tried to prepare best I could, but I next time I will bring my targets mounted on cardboard and 2 - 4' tall stakes to attach the targets to. They have target stands there, if you want to buy for 10.00. Most people there are cool. One issue was with a couple of guys shooting hand guns. They were letting their brass eject all over me, not paying attention to stay next to the screen to prevent that from happening. I had to move. There are metal targets on the range. They have some deep areas if you are looking to shoot over 100 yards. You back your vehicle up to your spot, so if you have drinks and snacks they're easy to get to. Their website has all the info you need. I'll be back.

It's always a joy coming here. It's some of the longest ranges I can drive to. The staff is friendly. The range control officers are professional, very safety minded, yet cordial and friendly and seem to enjoy their jobs. I'll keep coming back so long as I can buy rifle ammo in California.

Last time I was there was in the early 1990's. I was thinking of going back this year in 2024, but my co-worker advised me that if you go there, be prepared for harsh treatment & harsh language. And it doesn't matter if you're sworn. I thanked him and decided not to. It's not my idea of a pleasant outing.

A great place ! Super friendly staff and very courteous. Very organized and maintained range. Went with some family and had a great experience. Used there long range at 100,200,300 yards. I really liked it and had a great time. The front desk lady was very nice - this is what makes the world of difference to me. I've gone to several ranges and usually very stuck up people running the counter but they were kind and respectful here. Afterwards we chatted with the range safety guy on our side of the range and had a wonderful conversation. Use common sense and safety guys if your safe and make every else feel safe you will have a good time. Ask questions any time you need to - it makes everyone feel better when your asking questions and improving your skills. Be safe and enjoy !

Affordable, great range officers, very helpful and knowledgeable employees. Always happy to help you out. Couldn't figure out why my scope was so foggy, Roger helped me realize my zoom was way off and I got to shoot my 30-06 that day after all.
