Randomly popped into Geoffrey's while driving through Malibu and what a treat it was. It had a smaller lot but they managed to get us a spot and seat us after a quick stint at the bar and a kind ask from the manager; thank you!!!! One smokey mezcal cocktail later, we were blown away by our waitress and the attention to details, on top of a stunning view.Although my eyes were on my date as she was just as tantalizing as the view, the food managed to distract me and made it that much more of an experience. It was a GREAT day and I couldn't be more excited to return. Get the tartare and oysters and leave happy, just be sure you don't tell your date that she's backseat driving on the ride home, trust me!

This is no ordinary restaurant for movie buffs. I was emotional to sit in this iconic location that has seen many scene shoots. The view is magnificent and the service exceptional. I loved the experience.

Used the valet service and got a ticket for not having my front license plate WHILE I was dinning at the restaurant (without any prior warnings or heads up that they were going to park my car on the street). It was my first time dining here. The Manager, Trevor, handled the whole situation very poorly and had no sympathy whatsoever. Refused to reimburse and flat out said it was my own fault. Did not recall the last time I used a valet service and had to worry about getting a ticket.Horrible customer service would not return.

Geoffrey's Restaurant surpassed all expectations for my 30th birthday celebration. Originally booked elsewhere, a cancellation led us to this hidden gem, and what a blessing it was! From the moment we arrived, the staff took exceptional care of us, accommodating our request for an ocean view without hesitation. Our server, KEEVA, was an absolute delight. Not only did he provide impeccable service, but his recommendations were spot-on and delivered with a personal touch. From cocktails to cuisine, each suggestion exceeded our expectations. There was one drink in particular that was so delicious, I'm still dreaming about it, though the name escapes me now.As we indulged in our meal, KEEVA ensured we never waited long for anything, attentively checking on us to ensure everything was perfect. And when it came time for dessert, KEEVA surprised me with a beautifully presented cake topped with a candle and a heartfelt rendition of "Happy Birthday." It was a full-service experience that made my birthday truly memorable. The food itself was exceptional, worth every penny and more. The atmosphere, with the breathtaking ocean view and the serenade of dolphins playing along the Malibu coast, added an extra layer of magic to the occasion. For anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience, I wholeheartedly recommend Geoffrey's Restaurant. And if you're lucky enough to be served by KEEVA you're in for an extraordinary treat. This birthday celebration exceeded all expectations, leaving me with cherished memories to last a lifetime.

Location - AService - AFood - D (meh)Ate here for the first (and last) time this past Saturday afternoon. It's a very nice location overlooking the ocean. Pretty much the entire place is outside so lots of heaters being moves around which is fine...I don't know how enjoyable it might be on a windy day. Anyway...ordered two drinks...mine is a lemon drop and the server suggests I up the vodka...why? For $20 each shouldn't it be a decent vodka already? We order tuna tartar and burrata salad. Burrata salad was fine...could have used more balsamic but it was fine. Tuna tartar was pretty much taste-free. It tasted fresh and all but it needed an acid, some sauce...something! It's supposed to have some sort of vinaigrette on it but it was awol. Still not that big a deal. The problem, is that they give you a decent-sized portion of tuna with 3 (count 'em 3!) small wonton chips to consume the dish with. That's literally enough for like a 5th of the tuna over avocado dish. So we ask for more chips...they bring this big plate with (you guessed it...3 chips). WTH? We weren't going to ask for more so we just didn't finish the dish. We discovered after getting the check that they charge you $2.50 for 3 extra chips (classy).Next course was another app - mussels. Fortunately (or unfortunately) this was the star of the entire dinner. Huge portion, huge mussels and they were great. The sauce they came with - fantastic! Bravo! For dinner we decided to share the lobster risotto. It comes nicely presented. Unfortunately it was also overcooked. Flavor wasn't bad but very rubbery. And where is the butter? Since when don't they supply a little melted butter with a steamed lobster? I'm glad we didn't ask for any as it probably would have been an extra $10! Risotto was not creamy and par for the course, lacked flavor.I am OK spending $325 (with tip and parking) for dinner for 2 as long as it's good. This was not very good. Bland food, nickel and diming and an "increased cost surcharge" on top of a fairly expensive dinner. You know how they always say "you get what you pay for?"...that was not the case here. We could have enjoyed 2 or 3 dinners for the price of dinner here and would have enjoyed it more and that's what we'll do next time.

Meh, everything was mediocre at best. The filet is definitely not a real filet. I got cartilage on the first bite. The main server could be described as “annoyed with our presence” but the other servers (bringing bread and utensils) were very nice and friendly. Some of the food was good tho.

Lovely brunch. Outstanding service and wonderful food. I’d highly recommend the shiitake omelette washed down with their spicy Bloody Mary.

I went here on a trip to Los Angeles. Wow, the food was awful and the prices were expensive. I rather go to any other restaurant.

This restaurant has blood on its hands. Mitrice Richardson dined here with obvious mental challenges and had the cops called on her for being unable to pay her bill. Her great grandmother offered to pay the bill over the phone and Geoffrey’s refused. Now the girl is dead. How can anyone eat here knowing the treatment of this patron? Zero stars for disgusting and selective service!

Classic quality American fare beachside. They know they've got the ocean, and they've tailored a pretty high quality menu. As long as you're willing to drop some serious cash on food, this spot was a wonderful time. It was nice they took reservations as well.

Great service from our waiter on March 16th. Coming from Canada for a birthday celebration? It didn't quite meet expectations (we enjoyed other restaurants in the area more).

Had a delicious meal with the best corner table. Absolutely loved it!! The waves crashing under the moon lit setting is absolutely stunning. Gorgeous gorgeous place and the food is very delicious. Classic flavors and prepared to perfection. Our waiter was really great but the service was lacking just a little bit.
