Legacy Park is a beautiful, peaceful park located near the Civic Center and local government buildings. It features a diverse collection of native plants, with stunning wildflowers in spring. Visitors can enjoy gorgeous pathways while spotting rabbits, squirrels, and ducks with ducklings. The park offers convenient amenities like poop bags, trash cans, a water bottle filling station, and dog bowls. Although there are no restrooms, there are several seating areas for relaxation. The park also showcases unique tile sculptures and provides informative signs about local wildlife, making it a great place for a scenic walk or a fun break from the nearby beaches.
The location might come as a surprise: at times the sound of traffic is so close that it brings you back to where you really are. Still, it’s a walk worth taking to step away if only briefly from the surrounding chaos. Pleasant overall.
