“Todd came recommended by a knowledgeable friend. With the market being as it's been since covid, and my general fear of commitment, it was a long time between my first conversation with Todd and finally closing a mortgage on my first home.

That never seemed an issue for him, even with I don't know how many requests I made for pre-approval letters to accompany an offer, and to talk about current rates and his unofficial outlook on trends. Todd was always happy to help out right away.

What sets him apart from other agents is he usually followed up with a phone call to the seller's agent to offer extra assurance about the strength of our credit and ability to close faster if needed, answering any questions they had. I heard from my agent a couple of times how much that seemed to improve our standing in multiple offer situations - although I ultimately bailed on a few of those bidding wars, you all understand I'm sure.

Ultimately I found the ideal house, and working with Todd made handling the Mortgage the easiest part of the process, getting everything in place and smoothly closing in 21 days - I think he could have done it in 10 if I'm honest, but we had inspections to deal with.

In this age, it is possible to find a slightly lower rate out there with some direct online lender if you don't care about customer service or having a professional working on your behalf through the process. They might turn out fine, especially if you aren't worried about any complications with your paperwork. But keep in mind, anyone you talk to at those companies represents the bank/lender. The Ross Group works with those lenders, but they represent *you*.

Todd is extremely knowledgeable, experienced, able to calmly explain every part of the process, and take initiative on your behalf. Plus he's always available to jump on a call with you (direct, no phone trees), your agent, your seller's agent, whomever to navigate the process with zero hassle and great results.

And now that the initial mortgage is done I know he'll still be in my corner, looking for an optimal time to refinance, basically working silently over the coming years to ensure this wasn't just a great, easy purchase, but that we get the best value for our home purchase over the lifetime of owning it. What a guy!

I have no doubt that his experience in coordining the loan transaction with a short 21-day escrow, and his diligence in tracking the market and optimizing savings on the refi is worth much more than shaving .125% off the rate and getting none of that personal assistance. I order everything online and avoid the personal touch in other aspects of my life, but transactions involving a million dollars or more is a place I'd personally like to have a trusted advocate on speed dial. Todd is who I'll call, and I recommend you do the same.”
