Zuma Beach is a popular destination in California, known for its beautiful sandy shores and stunning ocean views. The beach is well-patrolled, making it a great choice for singles and families alike. Visitors often praise the clean and well-maintained facilities, including ample trash cans and a lifeguard on duty. The waves at Zuma Beach can be quite strong, making it a popular spot for body boarding. Visitors have even reported seeing a pod of dolphins nearby. However, the strong waves and shallow sandbar can also pose risks, especially for young children, so caution is advised. Despite some ongoing bathroom renovations, the beach generally receives positive reviews, with friendly and polite locals adding to the overall enjoyable experience. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but the $8 fee is reasonable. Visitors are advised to be mindful of the persistent seagulls, as they can be a nuisance when trying to enjoy a meal on the beach. Overall, Zuma Beach is a beautiful and well-maintained California beach, offering a great escape for those seeking sun, sand, and stunning ocean views.
Zuma beach is clean, well maintained and beautiful. Paid $8 for lot parking which is well worth it, and comparatively affordable for parking in LA area generally. Lots of space, bathrooms available, and life guard stations. Summer season gets packed, but off hours is perfect to enjoy the sand.
