This is a must have whenever we're at Mammoth. These are my boys' favorite tacos. We recently ordered a family meal for three families and it exceeded our expectations.

If you want authentic Mexican food in the Eastern Sierras, this is about as good as it gets. That said, this is the Eastern Sierras, and you can't go too crazy with your expectations. Tacos were a massive step up from the other restaurants in the area, but still wouldn't survive long versus even an average taco stand from what I'm used to, and the shrimp tacos were just... nah. The hot sauce spread is impressive if you like American hot sauces, I much appreciate the fact that this place even exists, and parking is, well, adequate. If you come in the summers, do eat outside as it's quite nice, otherwise in winters expect to take your food to-go. Short version: I get why some rave about this place, I just can't bring myself to.

If you're looking for Authentic Mexican food this is the spot! I'm from California and my best friends are from Mexico I KNOW AUTHENTIC MEXICAN food. The prices are good for the quality of food and the service was just as good. The only reason I gave four stars was because there isn't a lot of seating and the seating area wasn't cleaned from the last guests.

Surprisingly good Mexican food in Mammoth! Got 3 tacos since I was initially wary, but honestly wish I bought more! Basically tastes (and priced) like east LA tacos. So delicious and so heartwarming after a long day of snow.

The only meal in mammoth that's under $10. And delicious. Breakfast burrito with chorizo was fire. Appreciate there are still places that don't exclusively cater to the super wealthy

Absolutely delicious. My favorite tacos in Mammoth easily. Can't go wrong whether you get carnitas, asada, pollo, heck get one of each variety they offer.

A favorite taco place amongst my friends that come to mammoth! It's affordable which is a big plus and seems authentic. The tacos were good- I tried the asada, carnitas, pollo, and pescado (fish) and my favorite was the fish taco. I also tried the california burrito which was pretty filling. Their asada wasn't the freshest / I found to be a bit on the tougher side but other than that everything was yummy. The food comes with grilled onions and baked beans as well on the side. They have limited seating and most people do take out. Come Again? Yes, I'd be down to come again after skiing in the area. It's a close by, quick, and convenient option.

Great spot to stop for a burrito, tacos or some chilaquiles. Service is friendly. I would take the food to go and eat it at home.

Definitely the cheapest meal you can find in mammoth. I frequent it a lot (as most mammoth locals do) and can appreciate the unique experience. Limited seating so I always just get takeout. They also have a good selection of random herbs and spices, canned goods, produce, etc.

Great tacos at a reasonable price. This would probably be 4 stars in LA but in mammoth, where almost everything is overpriced mediocre food, this place is a breath of fresh air.

Best Mexican food ever!! Love it ! The breakfast burrito is amazing! Also the people works there are super nice. This place def is your best choice before you are heading to next trip.
