Always takes multiple calls to get ahold of them. Wait in line can often be over 30 minutes. And today they decided to close and go to lunch before helping the rest of the people in line.

The pharmacist was very nice but the assistant was super rude. Needs to practice better manners to patients. I am in the medical field will never not listen to my patients voice first before I speak out. I know everyone has difficult days but definitely never take on your patients.

Dunno what everyone else is talking about, staff has always been super kind, friendly, and helpful. They've gone out of their way to help me many times.Skill issue idk

While in Mammoth in June, I developed a UTI. I went to the ER at the local hospital which was GREAT. They sent an Rx to the pharmacy at Von's. I drove over on the way back to our condo, went to the window and was told they were closing for lunch for an hour and that I should come back. Needless to say, I was in a great deal of discomfort by then and more than a little surprised that they did not have someone on staff to cover the lunch hour when it seems possible that a lot of people might be trying to get a prescription filled on their own lunch hour.

Well stocked, lots of choice etcSuper rude staff tho. Not sure there’s ever any need to be that unfriendly… Didn’t respond to my hello, looked at me as if I were dirt, threw my items across the scanner and then made me wait to pay while they talked to another customer…

I have to agree with the other comment that they are pretty short with you and rude. I just called to ask if an item was in stock and the quick response was “just have your doctor send it in.” Then I got him to check if it was in stock - surprise surprise… it wasn’t and it took 2 seconds to check. If I had just had my doctor send the prescription, I would have wasted everyone’s time.

Nice, clean, and spacious well-stacked supermarket located in an outdoorsy resort town in the Sierra. They will have what you're looking for. Whether it's a microbrewed beer in a can or bottle, or some ingredient for a gourmet dish that you just gotta have, chances are, if it's findable in Mammoth Lakes, you'll find it here.

Staff is rude and unhelpful, I’m a young local trying to navigate dealing with prescriptions on my own and the staff makes me feel stupid every time I call. I understand they probably deal with a lot of stupid questions, but guess what that’s part of your job to answer them and help people. Can clearly tell they hate their jobs.

Nothing but bad experiences with this vons. Being a local I try to avoid it like the plague and try to make the 40 minute trip down to Smart & Final in bishop. But every so often I need to pick up a couple items before work, again I walk in a few minutes before six, I go to the only check stand with the light on (indicating it's open). I wait for a couple minutes and nobody acknowledges me. After waiting I walk up to their front desk and knock in their little office room and no one answers. As I walk back to a check stand 2 more customers get in line. I look up to their second floor office window and I see Rosalinda looking down and start waving my arms signaling we need a cashier she ignores me, and a few moments later makes an announcement on the loudspeaker "Raul can you check up front please, Raul" (Raul being the guy with glasses that works in the produce department) after a few seconds Raul starts walking in the direction of the check stands and than one of the other produce guys calls him back to the produce corner, and Raul simply shrugs his arms and went back. A few moments later Jasmin canes up and rings us all up. Thank god for Jasmin she's the real star. All the other employees there seem to forget they have a job because we shop there. Always acting like they're doing us a favor. And again why hire such rude and disrespectful employees. Especially with an attitude like Rosalinda and Kim (the chubby old lady with short hair). You can check the cameras to make sure everything I say is true, it was either Tuesday August 30 or Wednesday August 31. At around 5:50 am. It's ridiculous that this store is only consistent in staffing rude employees. I don't expect to be treated like royalty, all I expect it to not be treated disrespectfully and for someone to be there to help me pay for the products I want to buy. Rant over

Customer service is not the best. Filling a prescription takes too long. After getting out of the hospital there in Mammoth I had two prescriptions to pickup. The only problem is I needed them before the pharmacy closed in that I was leaving the next morning for home 6 hours away. They did not attempt to fill them that day but waited till the next day then called me in the afternoon to inform me I could pick them up. Well I was well on my way home. So one prescription an antibiotic had to be transferred to my pharmacy for when I got home. The other one could not be transferred because it was a pain med. Unacceptable

Came without my insulin. Wife packed the car and said he had everything. It happens. Went to pharmacy early in the morning and they got my prescription transferred so it could be dispensed. Whole thing was problematic because I just got a 3 month supply the week before and the insurance company was going to make it a pain. The head guy worked through all the issues. Really saved my backside otherwise I would have had to go to a doc in the box or an ER to get a new prescription.
