So grateful for the kindness I received from A Pizza Place! As a thru-hiker I rolled into town at 9pm, where most places had already closed. When I called they were so kind to throw a pepperoni pizza in for me last minute. Hungry for any real food, it tasted amazing!! but I stand by it when I say this was the BEST PIZZA ON TRAIL. Amazing family that runs this place, who set an awesome example of kindness and compassion for all. How you have helped this hiker will not be forgotten!

The food is great, I always recommend this store to people from out of town, but today the over the phone customer service was rude and left me disappointed. Just hoping the phone experience doesn't affect the quality of the food that we're used to. First They said the order hadn't come through and then they said they'd already made it, that I needed to pay for my order although I had already paid. Then complained about me to colleagues while I could hear and then told me I had an attitude when I asked them to not bother helping me with my change request ... we haven't been back since

We ordered the vegan version of their "Napoli" pizza. We were really looking forward to it since it had great reviews for their non-vegan version. What we received was a pizza that might have had the garlic sauce and possibly some vegan cheese on it and 11 pieces of tomatoes for 8 slices. No fresh basil. Very dry, sad looking pizza that I would have been very embarrassed to send out to a customer. We suggested returning this pizza and perhaps getting another pizza at 50%. We were told the Manager was out of town and no one there had the authority to approve. They could give us the Manager's cell phone # and we could call ourselves. What kind of business doesn't leave a DOA when a Manager is out of town? And seriously, the employee should have called the Manager vs handing out the Manager's cell phone # to strangers.Did end up keeping the pizza, such a hassle otherwise. Tried it and it definitely did not have much on the pizza dough other than the 11 pieces of tomatoes. Even if they had remembered the fresh basil, it would not have saved this "pizza".Long unsatisfactory review mainly because we were really looking forward to the pizza and the business practice is sorely lacking.

Twelve of the tiniest chicken wings & drumsticks I've ever seen, each one was barely a single bite of meat and the order was $27. I bought the wings thinking that would be enough for dinner for one person but after seeing how small the order was I also bought a slice of cheese pizza... it was sad- zero flavor and dry. I had a few bites and threw it in the trash even though I was super hungry. Not even worth bringing home for the dog. I don't like to write bad reviews but I'm hangry AF.

I wanted to get a pizza with instead of 1/2 cheese I wanted 1/4 cheese. I was told it wasn't possible you can divide by 1/2 but not 1/4. ? I tip very big always but not today. Needless to say they burned my pizza we found out after we got home. I'm hoping they didn't do anything else more sinister. This is a training issue do better.

The pizza looks amazing but the wait was longer than expected and the workers behind the counter weren't on the same page.

I can't believe this "business" is still open.

Awesome pizza and even better people! Everytime we've been there they've been more than friendly. Pizza is delicious. Highly recommended.

Salt of the earth people making the best pizza in mammoth lakes. The staff is always above and beyond.

Well this used to be a decent place to get gluten free pizza, but the last two times have been awful and I won't be returning. The first time we put an order in and called to get an update 30-45 mins later and was told it would take another 2 hrs because they got in a large order before us but didn't update the time or call to inform us. Now I was told it would be ready in an hour and when the pizza was picked up mine was inedible, missing items, cold, and burnt (straight to the trash) and the other pizza was also cold and prepared incorrectly (don't change anything on any pizza it won't be followed). So not only did I not have a dinner neither did another person. Then I tried calling and had to use my work phone as they were dodging my personal. Both times we were told the same reason - they got a new system - mind you it's been a couple years since I last ordered but today will be my final time! I don't blame the workers but whoever is managing this place - training and quality control need to be fixed - but considering it's the same as last I'm not holding my breath!

This place was slammed! They were so busy with online orders that they weren't selling any pizza by the slice. However, we ordered a delicious pear and Gorgonzola salad and since they ran out of pears the manager gave us 2 free slices of pizza. All the food was delicious and the hospitality was impeccable, especially considering how hard they were at work with orders. Thanks y'all!

Nothing to rave about. My son liked the pizza. I thought the crust was thin. Bad part was only one guy was working, he was nice but slow. Kinda reflected poor management. But could be due to pandemic.

Last night we stopped in for dinner. They had two vegan pizzas on the menu. We ordered a small of each to split. The Berkeley Vegan was fantastic. One of the best vegan pizzas I ever had. The second pizza was the spicy pineapple which was pretty good and spicy. However all you taste is pineapple and spices. I wish some other flavors could have come through. We got our food quickly and the staff were friendly and the prices were reasonable for a tourist town. The downsides were the poor lighting. We couldn't tell the place was open when we pulled up if it wasn't for customers eating inside. The other negative was place could use a thorough cleaning inside.
