Enjoyed our stay, would love to visit again. There's a store less than a mile away to buy food or grocery too.

Beautiful campground. All hookups worked well. Grounds and rv sites are spotless. Friendly and helpful staff. A very nice trail is an easy walk to the beach.

Cabins were cute but we had to walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night, but otherwise, it was great.

The campground was great... But don't follow Google maps if it tells you to take Mountain View Drive!

Cute campground nearby a breathtaking coastline. Lots of amenities available. Dogs are welcome and can be a bit annoying with barking. However, this was never an issue in the evenings.

Very friendly staff accommodating. Even cleaned my motorcycle helmet windscreen! I stayed in a cabin that was warm, double bed, two bunk beds and a heater...My first time at Manchester and had a great visit

Sofa bed wasn't comfortable. Ltd cell coverage, $13 a day fee for WiFi!? Cabin was clean but hot plate not efficient for indoor cooking. Nice campground with a lot of amenities.

We love staying here, we've been coming here for the last 5 years. We never want to leave. The campground is clean and well taken care of. It's so relaxing we love to hear the ocean at night.

This was my first time staying at a KOA, and this is about as off the grid that I care to be. I will Thank you admit, I am very bougie, and I have standards meaning, I just can't go camping in a tent without a bathroom in the shower. So I loved being able to come to this location and be able to enjoy the outdoors but with a bit of comfort. I will also admit that I was a little thrown off by the sign at the check-in that indicated that confederate flags were not allowed. Well, I am glad that they are not allowed, it definitely made me feel some kind of way in terms of the area that I was in. One thing to keep in mind with KOA is that depending on the location, you definitely have to prepare in advance. We booked about six months ago, and things were almost booked up at that time. Some of us were in cabins, and some of us did tent camping in our party. It was nice that all the cabins came with a fire pit in the grill and tons of space in between! My cabin was really nice, had just enough space for us, and stay nice and toasty! The place was very clean, and the cabin that I had came complete with all the utensils, I microwave, hand, towels, trash, bin, the fridge, and a two burner stove This KOA was really awesome and had an arcade, Poole, and a really nice playground. My kids had a blast! They didn't even have a chance to go to the playground, they were just enjoying running around and being outdoors. I like to close this place was to the beach. You really could walk, but we ended up driving just because we have such a little kids and they probably wouldn't be able to walk back since it's about a mile walk to the beach. The beach is absolutely perfect, for just sitting, or having a meal with friends, or just enjoying the scenery. From check into helping with firewood and lightning buyers, to just being a great, friendly place to be, I really like those KOA and definitely plan to be back. Also, for those of you who are not from the West Coast and are used to roads with guard rails, just know that there may not be some on the way to this place, and you gotta drive through the mountains. Definitely beautiful views and worth it but geez, can I get a guard rail along the way??

It is a good campsite that provides hotel amenities (hot showers and proper toilet). It is quite close to Point Arena Lighthouse and about 30 minute drive from Mendocino. The tent sites are situated next to the road that is surrounded with big trees for shelter. The ground was hard when pitching the tent but all in all a good camp site.

Lots of people. Lots of sites. Big property.Thursday night, was placed in a perfect spot, the Ts down by the state park border. Ocean breezes, could hear the waves and wildlife. Perfect.Come Friday morning, the Honky Tonk party arrived at noon and kept on going. Unloading logs, tossing them, yelling at each other, diesel trucks, in and out, dog freaking out, high-powered blow torched a fire, loud kids on loud mobile toys and loud country music. Noon to 9ish/10pm. Then up again at 630 - diesel trucks, the boat and the guys to go fishin.I called the office when awoken from my nap at noon, Friday, and asked for a lil help, the grounds keeper drove by and did nothing. It did nothing. He drove by a lot to drop fire qood for others, with hardly a sound. By evening, it was a cacophony of other music, drowning out the first. Nature sounds? Obliterated - the city came w the folks. Meanwhile, the rest of the park was peaceful, quiet and sweet. Or so it seemed. Many dog walks later, a short night of sleep, I left. When I left, Saturday, I asked if there was a quiet section for tents? No, they do not have a quiet section. Period. So unhappy. All in all KOA is a gamble. Of the 7 I stayed at this summer, only 1 delivered. And this wasn't it. It could have been amazing, could have been 5 star, but the rights of others are not protected here.
