Matthew Houseman was exceptional when helping myself and a friend open an account. Although he had limited knowledge of the Spanish language he understood quite well and made an effort to speak it also. Very Polite and Customer Service was an A++. Thank you so much I will definitely be recommending Kinecta to all of my family and friends.

Cynthia Perez provides excellent customer service. She has gone above and beyond to help me with all my questions and banking needs. She is very thoughtful, I never had anyone send me a gift card for sending a referral. She is amazing and will take care of you. I am sad that the San Jose branch is closed, even when I reach out to her, she has a sense of urgency to respond via email. I love working with her and appreciate that she takes care of my financial needs.Giang Huong

Terrible. Had a very negative experience with the intake lady in the booth. She denied my application because I did not have (according to her) recent utility bills to show her. I was trying to tell her that my account billing is online (e-billing). She would not accept my print out copies of the online bill receipts. She said it had to be the ones that they send you in the mail. I left. But, before I left I told her that I was going to the other branch to hopefully get better service. I wished her well and walked out. I went to the other branch, opened the account with no problem, with the same documents. Then, the lady from Manhattan Beach, apparently saw my name and new account pop up in her system (since Kinecta is headquartered in Manhattan Beach), and she closed the account. Was the greatest blessing. Found another wonderful credit union that I adore. They treat me right. Farewell, Kinecta!

As the old saying goes it's better to have no credit than credit at all but as time caries on so does knowledge of understanding how credit works and its equally important. I walked into kinecta inquiring about joining a credit union, commented about my concerns and shared my short term goals that I had wanted to achieve and with the help of Matthew Hausman it is happening full circle. Matt's not there just to make a quota he's customer service savvy, knowledgeable about helping you establish credit and takes the time to help in your goals whether short or long term and he's extremely patient and understanding, I thought joining a credit union would be a grave mistake when in fact reps like Matt actually care to help and pass financial wisdom for the better.Thanks Kinecta and MH

I realize people only post with bad or exceptional service but when a bank tries to hold your money hostage and asks you to verify ANOTHER bank account to do a transfer that has already been verified by sending your statement from that other account, something seems very fishy. Why do you need to know personal bank information from a bank that is not your own if the transfer was denied and cancelled? People, pay attention! Kinecta is stepping way out of line with YOUR funds. Remember, they use your money to make interest overnight and freezing it, even after you come in and verify there was no fraud is wrong on all accounts.

This review is for this branch only.This is a nice, shiny, new branch with a good coffee maker, but after interacting with at least four employees there, it seems most are overly enamored with themselves. I opened one account there, and the banker didn't point out to me the one most important, most crucial element of that money market account -- it doesn't offer interest on deposits, for Pete's sake!!! For a different matter, they "needed to" refer me to one of their "wealth management" advisors. After approaching me, she seemed to decide I didn't have much "wealth" to "manage" (in my experience, the smartest wealthy people don't always look the part) and visibly lost interest. Every customer is an opportunity to land a job and they bombed their interview. At least I have the 1440 Rosecrans branch.

If you want to waste your time and be unnecessarily disrespected then come here. I've been a member for over 15 years but came with my husband to make an account for him. We weren't greeted like I've normally been and then were met but a very rude employee who didn't give us his name but was working at the main counter at 4:10pm on Wednesday March 29th. I was not bothered that he didn't have time to make the account but rather the way he rudely told us he doesn't have time for us and didn't offer to make us an appointment for a later date. He kept stating he had a 4pm appointment but it was 4:10 with no one else in sight. As we began to leave a man in a suit came out and said he could help us but we already felt so unwelcome so we left. Very tempted to shut down my account and take my money elsewhere if this is how we will be treated. Very disappointed.

I was referred to the new office on Manhattan Blvd and had the pleasure of being assisted by an Oscar (I can’t recall his last name) with a great personality and smile. This guy really impressed me with his knowledge of products and the questions he asked. Impressed isn’t even enough to begin describing him. I’ve told 2 of my best buddies about the great rates Oscar shared and I can assure you, we’ve found our new bank; I mean, Credit Union! Give him a raise!

Kinecta Federal Credit Union is an absolute nightmare to deal with! The employees that I've dealt with are insufficiently trained. Kinecta is currently in contempt of an issuing court granting an 850/Heggstad Petition to transfer property into the decedent's Trust with the fiduciary in charge of the asset (Kinecta) authorized to complete the transfer. Kinecta's front office employees are flat-out refusing to abide by the Court's decision and refusing to refer this to their legal counsel.

I want to give a big thank you to branch manager Irene and staff. Unfortunately I am suffering damages caused by Hurricane Ian. After seeking financial help from Kinecta Irene was able to lead me in the right direction. I hate that I didn't get her name but when I called customer service the young lady that helped me was super knowledgeable, fast and compassionate. After moving to Florida I thought many times of opening an account here with Suncoast Credit Union. I am very glad I didn't because I heard they aren't helping anyone. Once again thank you so much Kinecta!!!

I have a car financed through this bank and am currently trying to sell it. I brought an all cash buyer to this location and these clowns couldn't facilitate a simple sale involving CASH and they couldn't do it. The buyer got frustrated and backed out of the deal and since then, I've not had an offer within $2,000 of the price I originally secured so in other words, these inept fools have cost me at least $2,000. Do not use them!

New branch, very clean and staff is always ready to help. Even if there is a line, they will help you in the cubicles. Staff is knowledgeable, always friendly. Had a couple issues with my account and the staff was able to fix each issue efficiently, and with haste. Highly recommend this branch.

Can't say enough good things about this new branch. I used to use the one on Rosecrans which was close to my former office. This one is more modern with no "teller cages;" just desks with comfy chairs. There are a couple of super cool things about this branch--they have a coin machine where you can cash in your change and deposit it directly to your account for no fee. What a win-win for the customer as well as the bank who doesn't have to order so many coins. I stopped in here recently because my debit card was a bit out of date; you couldn't use the 'tap to pay' feature and they made me a new one in minutes with a purple background. I'm a huge fan of Kinecta AND this branch.
