“Visit this heaven-on-earth daily. Make it part of the magic of your Manhattan Beach life. A new chef is creating coffee cake and banana bread (sold as individual slices) that is pure sorcery. I don’t know how it is so amazing; I’m just grateful it’s here! (This neighborhood has needed a bakery for years…and now we’ve got it.) Crafted sandwiches and salads are exceptional; and heat-at-home entrees like chicken enchiladas and bucatini with meatballs are restaurant quality (this is NOT typical deli takeout!). This is also a full gourmet market of pantry staples, cheeses, and produce, all selected with a discerning eye. Not to be missed is the wine selection. I thought I “knew wines” (and I do!), but there is a gifted sommelier here who REALLY knows wine. Fascinating and impressive. Lastly, but most importantly, the people - warm, genuine, welcoming - make this market a place you want to visit every day. Which is good because you’re going to want to get the coffee cake every day! Enjoy!”

“I just wanted to address the review of a disgruntled wine vendor left for Uncorked earlier. I too am a wine vendor (importer/distributor) and have had the opposite experience than this person. His situation would be encountered working with any independently-owned wine shop (or in any industry for that matter): Good communication and Playing the long game have allowed Uncorked to become a Top account for my business. I've never had an invoice go unpaid. Nobody pointed a gun at this guys' head and told him to ship wine. You don't find many great wine shops in the Los Angeles area committed to supporting small wineries and interesting wines as Uncorked and Jeff B. Great people and great account. Cheers ?”
