“This is a nice store and just enjoyable to hang out. Sits right on Rosecrans - safe environment, and great selection of books, of course! As far as books go they are well stocked with easy to find labeled sections. They have a vast variety and a wide range of authors, all genres and beautifully set up with a nice array of displays showcased throughout. The store is well organized, well-lit, clean, and spacious. Also, there are a variety of seating areas. Super friendly and knowledgable staff - always helpful and kind! Everyone is caring and insightful and gives impressive recommendations based on your tastes or goals. Kudos to the staff for professional, knowledgeable and friendly customer service. They also make ordering books easy. You can get anything you need and pretty fast. A nice browsing atmosphere with other book lovers. Parking is not a problem at all - as it is nestled in a shopping mall situated between Trader Joe's and Old Navy. This place is a 10/10!!!”

So forget about finding goodwill pricing here, as everything here is priced at full retail, perhaps in some cases more. With that said, what you will find here is some really high-quality very good merchandise. There's a little bit of everything possible to be found, and it's ever changing. If you look, you can find some really good deals, they even have built in depreciation prices, i.e. the longer an item sits, the price comes down. If you're in Manhattan Beach, you've passed them plenty of times. They often display merchandise outside. Located very close to Manhattan Village, they are in a great location. Convenient parking around back. Worth a look, you never know what you'll find!”
