“Great selection of items!! Both designer and brands you’d find a Nordstrom or Bloomingdale’s. LOVE this store! And knowing it’s a bunch of rich Manhattan Beach residents dropping off clothes makes it that much better! Always new stuff in there too! 10/10”

“I love shopping at Great Labels in Santa Monica! They always have amazing items at such great prices. The store is super clean, beautifully organized, and easy to browse. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. This is definitely one of my go-to spots for quality finds and great deals highly recommend! :)”

“I’ve long supported private business. And this one, by far, I enjoy the most.
Larry (the owner) and his crew (Ethan and Ryan, of note) are top shelf all the way.
Their professionalism and customer service are outstanding, but, it is their transparency I really appreciate as a consumer.
I’ve both purchased and consigned items from/to them. The process has always been smooth, concise, and thorough. It’s always been a pleasure doing business with them.
I shall continue to support them as a client and a neighbor.
So, if you’re in the Southbay, Santa Monica, or Westside, and you need to get some good equipment at fair prices… this is the place to shop.
Continued success to Larry and the entire crew at this Play It Again Sports location.
Cheers.”

“Been going to this store for over 20 years! Always a great selection of clothes. Best prices. Perfect way for your kids to be dressed in the nicest clothes for a fraction of the cost!”

“This shop is definitely packed full of items, but in practice this means that they likely have what you want in stock! I found that they had several options for all the items I was looking for. I came away with everything I was looking for and more. Notably, they carry packs of disposable diapers at cheap prices, plus cloth diapers! I’ll definitely come back to purchase toys for my child or for gifts, as they carry a WIDE selection.”

“Great gem! They have a lot of first press vinyls! Great selection and I really love how everything is organized. It makes it easier to look through. I’ll be going back today!”

“I am so horrible with names. But I JUST left the store. Praise and nothing but LOVE and RESPECT for Salem and his coworker (omg...I can't believe i forgot his name..super nice guy working the cash register with Salem).
BOTH young men encountered much older men that were homeless. Both young men treated these much older men with compassion, dignity and absolute respect. I was humbled by Salem's coworker because I found myself being judgemental and this young man was listening to the needs of the man.
I was wrong. So wrong
I stopped and looked at the man and he had no pants on. It is COLD outside! The young man told the gentleman to go get what he needed to stay warm. No hesitation
I offered to cover the cost...he said it was ok. This is what they are here for.
I have no way to soothe my guilt..lent begins tomorrow. Jesus comes in many forms....I have alot of hard lessons in the next 40 days..something tells me.
Lol”

“We went there yesterday, and it was fantastic. The gentleman who was working at the time was very helpful and overall awesome to talk to! The collection of “Junk” in the store Made me feel like a kidney candy store! If we come back to Redondo Beach from Wisconsin we will definitely be back!!”

“I visited on the first and last day of my US shopping trip. The selection changes every two weeks, so I was able to buy more cute secondhand clothes than I could carry on both days!”

“We wanted to start our day early exploring Venice Beach. Sadly, almost all of the shops don’t open until 11am. Luckily, this opened at 10am. They have a nice selection of vintage items. We picked up a sweatshirt. I was so tempted by a couple of unusual coats that were so darling.”

“I've purchased 2 firearms here. And each time has been excellent. There was one of both days that it was extremely busy but it's understandable as the time it takes to make a purchase can be lengthy. However, once it's my turn they provide great customer service, tips, and make the process smooth and as efficient as possible. I highly recommend this location for purchasing firearms.”

“Great! It’s quaint and lovely and the people are super nice! Sometimes selections are a little limited in terms of trendiness, but for these prices they’re still a steal. Also a heads up, they don’t take Apple Pay”

“Some of the best range of vintage Americana items I have seen in the LA area. If you’re into Marlboro, Harley Davidson, Pendleton, western & biker looks etc. They have everything. Expect 3 digit price tags on most things but compared to prices in LA proper on the same items it’s comparable and a much wider range of selections than your average spot in Echo Park.”

“Plenty of vendors and very interesting items at this place. They said there are over 90 different vendors, that’s why the variety is wide. Anyone who likes vintage items, this is a must go to shop.”

“I’d like to share that I was in the store today and a very rude woman was making racist comments and the two volunteers working at the store asked her to leave and she refused and then she physically assaulted of the women and it was disgusting to watch. This is a beautiful store that does great work for an amazing cause and the volunteers working there did not deserve to be treated like that. Please have respect when you shop at this establishment.”

“Cool little shop with a great (and varied) selection. I liked that there were a wide range of prices- felt like “something for everyone” (or anyone).Staff were friendly. Lots of stuff on sale when I was there.”

“Love Ms Vintage. The cutest most unique clothing that is yes theatrical yet still very functional for everyday wear. I always leave with at least a few cool thrift finds! Very excited to go back! I recommend it highly.”

“This place is nothing short of a revelation. My mother went for years and in 2019, I dropped in. Only open four hours three times a week so you have to plan ahead. I bought a beautiful Italian blazer and slacks I got too big to wear in menopause but now rocking! 50 bucks. Pair of jeans for 10. But you also have really high-end stuff that even used I can't afford. Those who can will save huge. I haven't been since before the pandemic but hope to go soon. My mom used to go regularly after her ballet class at Westside, not far away. My go to designer resale was The Cottage in Pacific Palisades. That closed some years ago (replaced by yet another ridiculously overpriced home goods store). My other go to was Jessica Consign in SB but I've bought next to nothing since COVID hit. And having lost a lot of weight/size, I'm wearing older things I couldn't get into.”

“Chatted up the adorable blond surfer who works there! He is from Seattle, as am I. He recommended a vinyl LP which I bought. I told him to read Sing Backwards and Weep (audible). I hope he is listening because he will LOVE IT! Fun store. ?”

“Impeccably curated. Hands down the best vintage store I’ve been to in LA. If you want to find one of a kind pieces that you will cherish for life, this is the place to go.”

“A shop where those who own Evos and Twin Cams must go. This shop was recognized during the big motor chopper era as one of the best in the country. It’s not a dealership so don’t expect a Service Writer to come out and take check your bike in with an iPad. This is an independently owned and operated business. I’ve personally had a big motor long bike (chopper) built from the ground up in the early 2000’s. Everything required mechanical proficiency beyond the dealership skills. The fit and finish is show quality, it’s VERY safe and VERY reliable. 20 years later it’s still as if it was started for the first time. The factory Fatboy I have I took to them who advised on the proper performance upgrades, the pros and cons and delivered a result that makes it a blast to ride. I can’t say enough good things about this shop. It’s a motorcycle shop with credible mechanics and current on trends. Not many like this exist and it says alot about them who have been in business for over 20 years.”

“Such a fun and charming shop! Every time I visit Freight House, I find something unexpected and beautiful. The space has a cozy, welcoming vibe, and the selection feels both high-quality and full of character. You can tell a lot of thought goes into choosing each item. It’s one of those places where you never leave empty-handed!”

“This Salvation Army store on Artesia Blvd in Redondo Beach, is NOT the closest one to where I live in Santa Monica- but I go out of my way for 2 main reasons: and drive 45 min each way, Here's why:1) This store is always so neatly and beautifully organized, that it's a sincere joy to find gems from fashion accessories to decorative items that I have purchased for myself and for gift giving, saving me $ and knowing that all of my money spent is going to an amazing worthy cause.2) The cashier- especially Sonya the cashier, is the most helpful, courteous, efficient and this young lady always renders great customer service with a genuine smile. This is reason enough to visit this Salvation Army store on Artesia Blvd.My kudos to the mgr- please accept my genuine thanks for a great job! After all, I am in the travel industry- and customer service is the heartbeat of what I sell.:-)”

“Some good deals on furniture. It's hard to find affordable solid wood furniture, so this used store can be helpful. They have two locations, one in San Pedro and the other in Lomita. When you call make sure to mention which store you're going to visit, because we called Lomita and it went to San Pedro.”

“My friend Debie introduced me to this little cute shop. Super high end brands at a fraction of the price. Making this stuff within reach for me. Lots of variety from accessories, purses, shoes, of course clothing. The girls were so kind helpful yet not overbearing or pushy. Just sweet and attentive if needed. Worth checking it out. They've been here for along time.”
